It was August of 2008, in the peak of a California summer, when a seemingly serendipitous encounter between guitarist, Alex Zigo, and drummer, David Lall, took place. Casual at first, though both knew that there was something deeper waiting to be realized. In time it grew, with the introduction of bassist Dave Sahlem, culminating in their first EP, "Lacustrine Dream". While raw and unrefined, it was alive and only in it's first year. Now, coming to maturation with guitarist Daniel Escobedo, Scarlet Stoic is born once more with a new self-titled release and the best fruit still ripening.
