I can't really explain what happened to me here, but here is a story: So this happened to me at 3:00 in the morning or night (Idk), I was sleeping having a dream, a dark dream. I woke up do to the light that my cousin turned on before I went to sleep. It was off. Everything was dark. I couldn't see anything. I was at my grandma's house, so I feel safe there. *I feel safe because, she studies things about Jesus, and believes the he is real, so I feel safe* My cousin always turns on a light, no its not a lamp, before we go to sleep. We leave it on until morning (8:00). When I woke up, I remember watching your paranormal and other videos of paranormal activity and storytimes, and thats when It got to me. I couldn't move, I was shaking my cousin awake, but she was dead asleep. I felt like something was in the room. I felt the chills. I was gonna grab my computer to turn on, but I was too afraid to move. I was lucky that my grandpa is awake at 3:00 in the morning. 3 hours later, I finally hear someone, my granpa. And I finally could move and the fear went away. I heard something say my name, well thats what I heard. It said: [My Name]. I'm not saying it... It all went away, when I woke up again. *Plus we have a doll in the room ;-;* It's night where I am at right now, so lets hope this doesn't happen again :O Oh, and the light doesn't work anymore o.O Omg, I feel the chills right now :(

I've always had a strong connection with the paranormal. And though I'm in no way a specialist, I do have a prediction. From what you told us, I got the image that the old woman is actually the spirit of a young girl. The little girl passed away young, but for some reason- when you see her- she seems to be in the old age she never got to be, but even as an old woman- she still has a child's beauty. Even though she looks old- she's still just a little girl trapped in the old woman's body. I got a feeling that when she died- her family wasn't there- she was alone (I think she might've died in a fire. Maybe purposely burned alive.) That's why she gets angry when you try to leave, shes attached to you and is afraid to be abandoned again. I believe she followed you from your old house. As for the whole "You have to see someone to dream about them thing", I think it's possible you saw a picture of her from her last few years alive. That would make her a young child in the photo, which would explain why you dreamt about her- but didn't recognize her?

tough stuff 25 - Similar stuff happens to me! Like if I try to punch someone out of self defense in a dream the punches do nothing, or the other person laughs. Also, if I try to call the police in a dream I keep accidentally typing 411 or 811. Which is terrifying

Your mind can regenerate people you've seen even walking down the street, not just people you know. Our minds try to resolve internal problems...maybe something had you conflicted and your dream was trying to work it out? Just my 2cents.

Our brains can make up people in dreams, it's places that can't be completely replicated. I often dream of being at the carnival, but it's never the same layout as my town's annual carnival and sometimes the rides are different.

I keep trying to watch other peoples story times just to like be a bit diverse but i keep coming back to yours! Nothing else makes me scared like your story times...

The same sort of thing happened to me about two years ago and its never happened since. I believed I was in a dream and my bed was directly across from my desk and I remember looking at my lava lamp on my desk then all of a sudden Its like I was hovering above myself. I was watching myself sleeping and then I noticed some guy laying behind me as well. He looked like he was either in his late twenties or early thirties and I distinctly remember his bright blond hair. He was just laying very close behind me in the same position I was in, I was laying on my side facing my desk and he was laying on his side very close with his nose almost in my hair, and he seemed to be sleeping as well. I didn't feel scared though, I felt very calm and peaceful. Then I woke up to the sun in my face. Have no idea what it meant or was to this day.

Those dreams would make such cool visual novels or art pieces. To remember a dream that vividly. Its sounds like more of a curse than a blessing but for your mind to come up with all that when sleeping, or for the paranormal to show you all that, because I don't rule any possibility out, it's all incredible.

i think the main reason for her skin looking so flawless and soft is because her camera is soft-focusing. plus her contour is nicely blended.

I agree on the thought of that its her when she is older. I mean maybe just maybe she feel scared of getting old or maybe she feels distinct from herself (if that makes sense) so the old lady was indicating not to leave her as in not to leave herself. This may or may not make sense. I'm just guessing

whenever I have a bad dream, I always try to remember to squeeze my eyes shut really tight, and when I open them I'm awake. I had nightmares frequently as a child and that always helped me get out of them. I was always able to know I was in a dream but never able to lucid dream, i.e., "oh, I've had this dream before! I know exactly what to do!" But it never like clicked that I could just do whatever because it WAS in fact a dream, lol.

I can do a similar thing. Sometimes when I have a bad dream, I can just say to myself (in my head) "I want to wake up now": And I wake up!

Megan Ambeau That's an adrenaline rush. when you sleep your heartrate slows and if it gets too low, it triggers an andrenaline release. I used to think someone came into my room and shook my bed.

Megan Ambeau I have had a dream where I am running and someone I have never seen is chasing me but I dont move. also dreams where I run and floor cracks open behind me dragging me inside

You say you never saw her in real life, but it's true that every face you see in your dreams is someone you've seen before. Your brain can't make up faces. You may have seen her in passing years ago but took no notice of her. Your brain doesn't forget faces, and may have used hers to make up the face of who you thought was a stranger
