Love that whole clutch at the end, but the best and most inspiring thing you said was about taking your time and working towards the future. I can understand wanting to produce a worlds first so bad but for me just to be part of producing your own dream snakes to choose from and keep is what it's all about. Only reason I will sell any is because I can't afford to keep them all. Great video Justin.

Super awesome video. I love the peach, especially the super. I can't wait to see what it does down the road. I thought it was great when you were asking yourself questions since Chaise was gone. That cracked me up. And last but definitely not least, that clutch was just plain amazing. Those were some very beautiful babies. I'm really glad that fire gene was in there. I think it went a long way in that clutch. Have a great day. Sending love and support from Arkansas, Richard.

It's a perfect name seeing as it originated in Georgia. I think that little baby version of the adult is even prettier. I like the symmetrical pattern better than the random one and it seems to have a deeper, richer color than the adult one. That clutch is gorgeous! I think I like the Fire Batman the best with all those big spots! That definitely is giving me ideas for my Clown project. I have actually considered getting a female Fire Leopard het Clown or some other combo het Clown with Fire in it to go with my Pastel Clown. Probably don't want Pastel in his mate because Super Pastel tends to wash things out and I don't want that. Fire on the other hand seems to just crisp up the contrast and make edges more defined which is exactly what I want to do! The only drawback is it goes toward yellow rather than red, but I wonder if having Blade in the mix would fix that. You are so right about the after sales service! It makes a difference and I really appreciate it! Invariably there are all sorts of questions that come up throughout a snake's lifetime.

I would say finding a breeder you can trust is definitely key. I would thing that would be a huge part of it especially when buying hets....i remember Brian Barczyk talking about a PAIR of hets for $25,000.00... Yes 25 thousand dollars and after 3 years with a clutch each year.. they never proved out!

I have a question for you. I saw a snake for sale within the last week. It was a 2001 model. I won’t go further into specifics so no one can be identified. It was a female not inexpensive. I just don’t get why someone would get a snake that old for more than a pet❓❓Thus leads into next question how old could a female be to continue breeding her and how does this impact her health❓

Awesome clutch! Fire, definitely at its best! The Peach gene is a very open possibility type of name. I had a biased towards my own choice but you cant fight the masses! Plus I already own a shirt and it will be nice for those random few to own one! Quick Question: How often are you looking for that next wild caught (new genetic) masterpiece? Would you suggest investing in dinker projects?

Ask Justin Question: What numbers concern you or keep you up at night? Snake room Temp, humidity & fluctuations, hot spot temps too hi/low, incubation temps, humidity & fluctuations, rat litter production, number of rats per adult/sub/hatchling, number of days since fresh water and cleaning snake tubs. Thanks!

Irecently watched a video with one of your snakes you called it by an artist name. piccaso or vango or something. the sides were really pixelated with various colors. anyways i think this peach gene might go good there. maybe clean up the dirty look, leave the color variety and maybe even add another color. Maybe not. maybe it cleans it up too much. i'll just have to trust your foresite and innovation because im sure both of those genetics are out of my price range for incomplete dominants.

People really do seem to have a hard time with the idea that mammals and reptiles are fundamentally different. This is what leads to any controversy over line breeding. The thing more people need to understand is that - as a society - we formed our morality about inbreeding based on what it does to _us._ It's a survival mechanism to treat things that are objectively negative for our own survival as bad. We then ensure it takes by making it socially reprehensible. The problem comes when we apply that same morality to every other living thing, without scrutiny. Line breeding to a certain point is demonstrably safe among Ball Pythons. There is no biological issue and no familial bond, so there doesn't need to be a moral judgement of any kind. Just my 2¢.
