I know this video is 9 yrs old but I wish I could find out what this guy doing today, is he still doing this? Would love to talk to him and understand why he says "can't use cotton wick, you use hemp cording". Also wish we had renaissance stuff where I live.

Just tried a jar candle with the cooler wax. Wow! No sink in the middle. Cooled faster. Didn't stick to the jar, so I'm thinking it wouldn't have stuck to a mold. Burns great. Why in the world would people suggest pouring at so much higher a temperature? Is it only for a shiny finish?
