There are times that I think Scar needs an intern on the server. Their only job is to manage his storage system and gather up all the random chest monsters he leaves here and there.

I love how all the hermits watch scars stream while playing on the server too just shows how much they genuinely enjoy being around him ❤ also tango offering to tear down scars copper got me thinking Scars you should open a black market in your tunnel where people can do illegal trading; could make for an interesting season conflict of being hunted by the permit office.

Ugh. The housing situation in Oregon (and probably all of the US) is a nightmare. My husband and I have been searching for years to find a property or just a bigger house, and it's been so difficult. I've been growing a business from inside our tiny 690sq house with two kids, two adults, and two cats. I've started doing some of the printing on our porch because I don't have room in the house. UGH. I feel your pain with the housing Scar. I hope you and your family find some really good people to work with soon, who will help you find the right place.

Yeah, there is lots of housing but they are all being hoarded by big investment firms and foreign investors, at least that's the case in California which is why the proposed solution of "just build more houses to deal with the homeless" hasn't been working here as they keep getting bought by investment firms that can pretty much out bid any regular person

I’m in East Tennessee, and my house is a 1979 construction currently entertaining $450k on Zillow. We purchased in 2013 at $153k 😅 Our suburb market is CRAZY inflated. If we wanted to upgrade to another home, we really couldn’t afford to. I don’t see how anyone could afford a home in our area right now.

I am a couple of days late watching this but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed listening to your chit chat with the other hermits. It feels like I am listening in on a bunch of very good friends and it is very comforting. Etho, I hate round abouts, too! I panic just a little when I have to use them. I much prefer a straightforward set of traffic lights.

As for travel to ocean depths... There have been over 50 trips made to the deepest point on earth (around 2.5 times deeper than titanic)... The guy who has made the majority of them bought a superior brand of private sub and spends more on maintenance than other titanic divers did. The invention of crowd sourcing has allowed for much better sonar imaging (outside of the super power navy's classified sonar mapping (it was maintained for decades to give submarine captains the best maps available while keeping them out of the hands of "the enemy")). They are recording the sonar imaging of the ocean floor as boaters/yachties motor/sail over various areas. The files are then being uploaded to a server farm and spliced together with the GPS data. Unfortunately even then, the majority of ocean travel is done in "lanes" so fairly narrow passages get scanned a LOT while the majority might get scanned once over the course of a couple hundred years or so. Similar projects exist documenting whales, sharks, and other marine critters. There are also a couple open source projects for remote operated underwater vehicles (tethered drones) will allow for more and more people to get video documentation of shallow depths. Likewise there is a crowd source project for divers to upload geotagged pictures of coral reefs to help researchers study coral reef health. I could go on and on.

the us is just so awful for any sort of system. financial aid for college is awful to go through (dealing with the permit office of university myself) and so is the health system. i really need to see a specialist, and the one i had a referral to wouldn’t take my insurance, then i got a referral to another one who wouldn’t take me in, and now im trying to find someone to get a referral for that won’t be a 6 month wait 😭 not nearly as bad as what some others have experienced, but its super frustrating when I just want to feel better and figure out what’s wrong :/

We've already been down there. It's just that it's super inconvenient and expensive because you can only use the subs a couple times. We have mostly mapped the surface of the oceans though. Because you know sonar and satellites exist.

On bedrock right now there's a bug where the bed looks like it's gone, but you can break the bed and it'll come back as the drop and you can place it back down. Had it happen a few times now, cat floating on invisi-bed was the only way I found out

I honestly haven't had any issues with two-day shipping on Amazon... things that *aren't* marked for two-day, I have the same experience as Scar, but if it's marked for two-day it generally gets here on time. Hope this helps those bedrock players who struggled to see the hermitcraft s9 world on console. It kept crashing on PS5 so I tried on my PC which worked, and I was even able to host a console connection via LAN for multiplayer with no issues on console that way.

Definitely did a upgrade to the diomond tower by makeing the ore spike all other hermits are jealous lol it looks to good.

44:50 Bdubs is wrong. We do know and it's iron. We can measure gravity (drop stuff) and measure the size of the Earth (geography) and can calculate the Earth's density. To make sure all the weights add up there's a metallic core. Because we can measure the Earth's magnetic field (use compasses), and we know some stuff about how common elements are, we're pretty sure it's iron. We're also not going to mine the Earth's core for wedding rings. No one is traveling through several thousand miles of molten rock for an iron wedding ring.

That was my favorite show back in the day. Now I'm scared to watch it again because I suspect it hasn't aged well. Still a life long Bruce Willis fan though.

Hypno stated in xB’s questions that he was not present in season 4 and 6 I believe. Xisuma, False, Mumbo, Clebert, Joe, Tango, Impulse, DocM77, Scar, iJevin, and/or CubFan… xB, Beef, Keralis, and Hypno I think skipped a season here and there… I’m not entirely sure when Beef joined… granted I’m not entirely sure about any of them. I think Keralis is the only OG that skipped several seasons. Wels, Ren, Iskall, BDubs, Grian, Zedaph, Sress, Pearl, Gem, and The shortest god ever joined later… so it can’t be any of them. Granted the only current member I remember the moment they joined is ImpulseSV. (Not counting Pearl, Gem, Skiz, and Jimmy’s Nemesis because they are all pretty recent). The reason is because Tango, Mumbo, and Xisuma tasked him with building a witch farm seconds after logging on.

When you get your shop/s up and running you have to sell for ore's then add them to ore mountain.

I had this happen. To fix; open up minecraft, go to settings. Uninstall any texture packs/downloaded packs (you can re-install them from your account later). This will open space. Then reload the software and you should have enough space to download the world. Hope this helps :)
