Hi, Jon. There's a tool in PS that let's you remove colored pencil (you could use other than blue). It's one of the "adjustment layers" and it's called "black and white". It's non destructive and it gives you some sliders to choose what colors you want to remove. You could have blue and orange pencils in your drawing and you could remove them both with this tool. I learn a lot from your videos, man, keep it up!

I have been a professional comics colourist for 10 years, worked on tons of things from Batman to G.I Joe, and a ton of other stuff. Everyday, all day. I came here to see if this was a different way of getting rid of blue line... but saw this comment and tried it immediately. Quickest and easiest way of getting rid of blue line by far. In regard to straightening the halves go to the drop down in the eye dropper tool, select ruler. Click on the left of the lower edge draw a line to the right edge, the straightening layer will rotate the scan into position for stitching, repeat for the other half. Info given to me be Colin Wilson artist on Blueberry.

I think this might be a good subject for a longer video, when you have the time. I think the process may be a bit complicated for folks new to digital art. This is also one of those very few times when Photoshop has the edge over ClipStudio, 'cause the latter doesn't offer any access to the color channels in an image. But a good video for a lot of us!

Could you explain a bit more about the clicking the Blue layer, flattening the layers and then copy-pasting it process?? The non-blue version looks great so I can't wait to hear more! Thanks for this video. I used the Adjustment layer Black and white but that still leaves the lines that used to be blue (red in my case.) Thanks!!

A) Does this work with traditional drawn and inked prints? B) how did you take the blue liens away?

On clip studio paint try to press the option on edit change bright to opacity i really dont know the english name of that option Because i use the spanish version but the thing is that option gives you a clean lineart If you want to paint something you Can show to the people How to do it on your videos it will be really helpfull to them

That's for something different. I do that to color like you're saying, but in this example, it's how to remove the blue pencil drawing before taking it to a final clean inked drawing. Thanks for your feedback though!

keep the good work man i have discovered that method the last week and i feel like i lost a lot of time before cleaning the lineart and you can do that with just one button
