For long haul in ETS2, volvo is more efficient fuel than scania. I always use volvo for long haul routes

@@nathanmartin9640No, I think the Volvo looks better. Personal opinion should be irrelevant for these types of tests.
Scania is more user friendly and centred in the interior design, all important guages + that digital speedometer and timer is a gem 💎. Somehow I never use the largest chassis configuration, just too powerful and limited customisation options for me.... But definitely team scania but volvo my second best truck always

I am currently driving a Scania S500 on new profile. Next will be the Volvo FH16 500. I like both manufacturers, but I like Scania's interior design better. In real word I have driven DAF XF 106 480 and Scania R450 with Kogel curtain side semi-trailer. One route DAF XG+ double cast with Krone paper liner semi-trailer.

Good video. But there is an injustice in the last comparison. You lost a few seconds with Scania in the beginning. Plus the video and addition was top :D

scania s engine and sound already over volvo . The scania s interior is nicer than the volvo in the dashboard. Personal feelings

Fuel tank depends on chassis. For the heaviest possible hauls, Scania indeed wins with 1000 litre tanks. 8x4 chasis is, however, completely unnecessary for almost anything other than special hauls with escorts, and for these, fuel tanks are never an issue. But on the most common 2x4 chasis - Volvo has the advantage. That said - both trucks can do the same job virtually just as well, so it really boils down to aesthetics. In game, Volvo has one major advantage in terms of layout - the mirrors are always in view if you have your view centered on the streering wheel - in Scania, they are not with default FoV. Scania R and S are the only trucks in the game with this issue. Well, Daf 2021 as well, but it has option for camera mirrors, which negates it.

Also you call the Scania 1k L tank completely unnecessary when the Volvo 4x2 tank is literary 1400 L so you are just proving that they are balanced.

Just started 4 days ago and I immediately purchased a Scania after some earning. But I like to have both and I might switch between Volvo & Scania
personally i like both but still i like volvo more (doesnt mean that theyre better) i think if you like scania then you like scania, if you like volvo then you like volvo. both are swedish trucks so both are good
honestly the sound of trucks from scs is very unsatisfying gamer

I drove all the trucks! All! the volvo is the best but scania is not far behind! I pulled all the trucks to 130 km/h except the Mercedes where I limited myself to 115 km/h. The Volvo has the best engine braking!

I have a Scania S500, R500 (New), Scania 143M V8 and Scania G RJL. I think you can tell I'm infatuated with this brand. I do own a 2012 Volvo FH3, very satisfied and it's design is so cool =)

@@vutomy because it has good sound, realistic cabin. I mostly drive Volvo FH 12 classic. It has the best truck experience. While driving with volvo, i feels like I'm driving a real truck. But while driving Scania, i feels like I'm driving a game truck 😬. Scania has worst sound and it didn't have enough top speed like Volvo

@@vutomy Yeah thanks but its not for heavy haul and not efficient as 12 speeds. I do use a scania pgrs mod which has make me able to edit gear changing speeds and i fit it to a volvo. So i do my own dual clutch system :D Thats how it looks like when you have more than 2k hours playtime
