Road run footage through Rothbury Northumberland out over Cragside to the A697 loaded with logs for A & J Scott sawmill Wooperton. Footage with a gopro hero2 camera in cab and a Rode shotgun mic outside the cab on the sunroof to record the full noise from the twin stacks!!!!

It’s honestly ridiculous how good this engine sounds. I’ve watched other videos on this channel as well and the engine’s sound is just 🤌🏻 Guttural and brutal, sounds like a beast is roaring. Some only straight pipes because loud = good (even me shitting my pants makes a better sound) but this is actually nice sounding straight pipes.

The most excellent noise. There’s no better noise than a Scania V8 breathing through twin stacks while working hard. I’m desperate trying to persuade my father to add a V8 to his 500+ Scania/Volvo fleet. This KZread clip will no doubt help my case!
