@lewdog12 yes it can damage the engine, but you know its a company truck :P it has 420 HP 12 liter engine.

So far does it gave u any problems?how much pay load do you load it and how is this truck feels like?previously i have driven thee old 113,320hp and then i was given renault premium 385 and now they gave me choice whether to get this model or 124,470hp model.The only problem is never driven any of these model before but i have seen some other companies runs the 470hp and when i speak to the drivers they suggest me get the volvo 460 or 480hp so its kinda hard to choose between them. :)

Yes, DAF is a really nice truck. The cab offers muuuuuch space. The bed is much bigger than the bed in the Scania R. I´m just wondering why a 6cylinder with 510hp at least can be strong like a v8. I think Scania trucks lost much quality. My father was excited about the 143. The old Scanias are really good ones. Drivers today attach importance to comfort because the job became really hard.

@TheSlapdown Air pressure low!!! It has to build pressure in brake system before you will move on. Otherwise you will not stop. SCANIA 4 EVER!!!

@Alexander64111 Scanias sind dann aber unabhängiger von einem weiteren Produkt und noch mehr Elektronik. Ad Blue hat im Übrigen weniger mit Ruß zu tun als mit NOx. Sollte man schon auseinanderhalten... Scanias are more independent from yet another product and more electronics. And AdBlue got more to do with NOx then with particles. One should be able to differenciate this...

@nesh2003 No it doesnt make any problems. My father loaded the scania with 30 ton. It feels PK and powerful. You are going to have the 4-serie and not the R-serie which my father had. But the 4th serie is also OK. I prefer Scania.

scania 6 cylinders have no power... even the in line 6cylinder daf xf 105 510 has more power than a scania r500 v8... But the old 164 / 144 / 143 scanias are really nice scanias. lots of power in a v8 engine. my father had a 143 450 v8 and on every hill it screams the shit out of it but never gave up. a really nice truck. and it runs over 1.5 million with one engine

@nesh2003 Volvos and Scanias are the best trucks in Europe (and rest of the world too but Americans prefer they cummins engines). If i were You mate, i would take a scania. Volvo is very good but scania is always scania.
