But I definiteky get what you're saying and hoooolllyyy shit OLIVIA POPE is ringing in my ear every episode also. some nights after watching scandal i feel like i'll wake up from a dream screaming "Olivia Pope!!!!"

Hahaha. Good catch. The Olivia Pope name is said a lot as well as "leader of the free world." OMG...I hate how much that line is used. Its over kill. But I still love and adore the show.

Yeah, Kerry is an excellent actress and I also love that they don't focus on her race, just how good she is at what she does. It is hilarious how often they say her full name. I think everyone from Scandal will think your video is funny...lol. I've read that Shonda Rhimes is supposedly working with Issa for a show. Heard anything about that? O_O

LOL!! I watched season 1 and I can't wait for the continuation of season 2 on January 10th. It is a bit far-fetched but I like the twists and turns and Kerry Washington is the first black woman to lead a television series in 38 years :-).

Lol! I'm like a Scandal FIEND but, I must admit Olivia Pope gets a lot of name play haha. But, she's like the best character EVER, she deserves it!

This show is so addicting that I don't even mind the ridiculousness. I love that black women can star in frothy soapy over-the-top dramas too. Also, I want to be Olivia Pope, if only so people will begin referring to me by both my first and last names.

just watched season one myself. called myself getting caught up on season two yesterday but only got through episode two. how 'bout it was only for the holidays?!? abc has removed episodes one through four so i missed out on all the good stuff in three and four. aarrrrrrrgh.

Agreed. Like if you watch an entire season in one week the big speeches that they do at least twice every episode get kind of annoying. But other than that love this show :)

When it first aired, I was intrigued-- definitely NOT because I'm impressed with her acting, but because hers was a female AA leading role in the series... butTHEN I heard she was the jumpoff (which made sense as the industry would have it), so I lost interest & never watched.... But I doubt that'll stop me from watching ur recaps :P

I really enjoy this show but I don't think that Kerry Washington is that great of an actress... or maybe I'm not a fan of the Olivia Pope character? I find her fast-talking and constant anxiety/weepiness/anguish annoying. But I LOVE her clothes and the fact that she's intelligent, a fixer, and well-spoken. I love love love Fitz, however, and David!
