If the scammer had been slightly more patient, he would have been able to enjoy the ducks.

Oh I love Lenny, I set him as my call diversion number after I had one telemarketer call me 3 times a day even though I told them I wasn't interested and to stop calling, They stopped called after speaking to Lenny twice.

@@A2000MHz I love how you just politely transfer the call and the hold music. I just have Lenny on his own dedicated external phone number (So I can just hit cancel on my phone and let Lenny deal with them) but yeah gonna have to set up a "transfer extension" number (basically just 3 way calling, so I can answer, say "just one moment", mute, and dial him into the call). Heck, I prob don't even need Lenny, just and endless hold music loop with "Thank you for calling, Please hold" peppered in randomly.

Just a shame he didn't last all the way to the ducks.

I have one that went almost 18 minutes, got transferred to 3 different people and they called back to check if it was a real person or not... But that is going to take some work to title it like I did this one.

@@A2000MHz You need a transcribing bot. Open AI Chat GPT can transcribe audio files in over 50 languages.

​@@A2000MHz When they called back to see if Lenny was real, you should have said "Who Lenny? Please hold". Back when I had my aquarium store, I used to say to the telemarketers "Please hold", then I would hit the mute button on the phone, and set the phone down. I did not put them on hold because they would hang up, and redial. Instead if they did a quick hangup - redial, they would get a busy signal. Then when I would hear the fast busy signal, I would hang up the phone. One time I got a telemarketer calling to get people to switch over to their merchant services, by letting them charge up their credit cards with some interest free thing. Some time past, and I picked up the phone, and they were calling and talking to other victims, getting their credit card numbers and personal information. So I unmuted the phone, and said in a weak old woman's voice "That's a ripoff". Then I was quiet, and waited for a while, and repeated. If I was crooked, I could have been writing down all the information that she was collecting. After several victims she said "Hold on let me get this other person off. I thought "She's going to get rid of me now". But no, she came back, and I was still on. So I continued on for a while longer, and finally got bored, and hung up.

Apparently the disco nation department contacted Lenny by lera. 😂
