Sammit thats a easy fix. Find someone with a fame machine and pull it out. Its really not that bad. The interior alone in that car is worth a lot of money and well worth saving

It honestly doesn’t look that bad as far as frame repairs go. I do know hard it to find a reputable shop there with a frame machine but somebody has to do it. But I get sometimes the needed funds for a project just aren’t there.

How salty do you want to be? Just because no one helps you doesn’t mean they wont help others. While sammit channel isn’t huge he has sponsors for the channel and for drifting. Some might be willing to help for the shoutout.

Don’t worry bud you’ll be okay I felt the same way when I got my first dirt bike, thought it was a great deal and overlooked the hell out of it but in the end you’ll love the thing more because of the story and effort you put into it🤙🏽

as a mechanic this car doesnt scare me a bit yes it needs some love but easily fixed with little bit of time and effort.

You can definitely fix it up Rotaries aren’t that bad once you understand them and chassis and body stuff is the same as always You got this 👍

I used to work in a collision shop and that does not seem like that big of a job. If the frame isn't split and the manufacturer specifications say its able to be pulled (probably a cold repair) it's very possible it could be fixed easily. Ask a shop first!

The compression from the engine running is pushing past the coolant seals into the cooling system and is coming out of the expansion tank vent. You might need a rebuild bud.

Check out Full Function Engineering for fuel rails, air pump delete,etc parts Look up reliability mods for FD's. AST(Air separator tank) is one as the factory one breaks. Removing the twins will also help drop engine temps as they heat soak the engine bay.

This happened to me before. I got an eclipse 09 and the guy said quick sale and said there was nothing wrong with it. A couple days later it had engine problems and I didn’t have the money to fix it cuz I just bought the car. It sucked soo much that this happened to me. I haven’t had a car since 2015 and I miss driving so much!! :( it sucks being broke 😢😢

I would love to see you build this car with him, some sort of show build maybe idk why they got it, but it would be so cool to see it as a project for both of you to work on and it to be a daily. so cool tho.

In fact, reving a rotary cold, especially with load and boost, can cause the corner seal to go out, sometimes they just seize in place but you have to take the engine apart to fix it.

At least the engine seems like it's in pretty good condition, apart from a couple of leaks.. Hope it's not too costly to fix that front end, and hopefully not too many other issues..

no engine no interior in LA is 20k usd. Got mine 2 years ago (post inflation) for 19k, 2k miles, built and tuned by DK at Garage Life, clearanced rotors, pinned, 3mm apex seals, single BW S362, running on haltec, new paint. Had some electrical issues i solved, and missing some switches on center console. Came with a spare stock 40k mile block and spare popups, box of spare parts, 9 mazda oil filters, ect. its clean, not perfect, but best i could do while being comfortable spending that amount of cash without inspecting, i knew if i didnt get it i would have to spend 2x more. If i was enzo and this was my dream car, i would just try to fix it, it doesnt seem like too much damage to me. If hes not completely in love with the car, not worth the headache and time to swap it all on top of fixing. Its definitely has potential, and is definitely worth the work.

Even with the bend frame, a frame shop can certainly pull it straight. It needs work, it is a bit a rough but nothing that can't be fixed up in my opinion. Would be a shame if he does sell, but I can imagine he wants a running and driving car instead of working on it before driving it.

Sammit buy a radiator pressure tester. They’re pretty cheap and you can do these tests well.

The front rail is completely fixable! That thing is dope. Especially for $15,000!

I’ve seen worse damage repaired. It just depends on if your heart is in it! The FD is a legend and a collectible JDM car. It will only get more expensive so worth the effort IMO

I would not be revving that engine without knowing the condition of the oil or fuel, but that's just me. Don't put synthetic in that thing please, rotaries were designed to burn a little bit of oil as it's used to lubricate the apex seals. Apparently synthetic oil doesn't behave the same as conventional oil in a rotary engine, that's just what I've heard though.

Hate to say this but with all those bubbles in the water, the coolant just coming out when tap opened shows compression in the coolant system. Coolant seals need replacing, so it is a complete engine rebuild.
