I would recommend standing next to the neck, not at the top end. That way the operator can rest his hand on the patient for better control of movement.

yeah, otherwise what's the point of the laryngeal handshake? Tickles? Bet they never did one for real, and that's one of those new age things, learn by teaching. Besides, it's bougie, jjjjjjj, not boogie man nor boogie woogie!
