As someone new to the wig wearing game I always wanted to know why ladies use alcohol to clear the space where you want to place the glue? Why not use a toner which are more cleansing and safe for the face?

I don’t know about other people but generally, Alcohol completely strips the oil from the skin as opposed to toners that are meant to balance, hydrate and sometimes moisturize, which may defeat the purpose. Everyone is different though

tanya danchor you use alocohol to clean and dry the skin before applying glue. Oils and moo duties from your skin lifts up the lace and causes it not to stick correctly. So you wanna strip that off

So I guess I was looking at it differently since alcohol breaks out my face. But it is all about preference and what's good for each individual's skin. As long as that lace stays laid lol

Use the cool shot setting and the nozzle. Dries the glue ways faster too.

Don't use heat on synthetic hair, unless you are using a flat iron and the fibers are heat tolerant. No dry heat.
