I am surprised at how Argentina was able to adapt really really quick to any team in the world cup. I mean, adapt not only before the game but while playing too! The best part was that they felt really comfortable doing it. Mind you, these players weren't the best in the tournament but it was for sure the best TEAM.

Really.some of the goals they scored werent simple by any means.i dont see anyone from france or brazil doing thst even when they got assists.other players besides messi created their own goals.thats nomsense to say they dont have very skilled players.but they also came up with a great plan.they couldnt win this without skill my friend

Argentina is an unpredictable team. No opponent can plan for them. France manager is scratching his head by now. France played 433, but how are they going to plan for a team that is quiet dynamic. I watched Scaloni developed this team for 4 years. They have lost 1 game in 44 games. Persons who still think France will bash Argentina have not watched this version of Argentina. Hope France don't become Italy. Argentina outplayed and embarrassed Italy a couple months ago 3 vs 0.

The fact that Messi stays up the field forces the other team to leave at least two defenders to guard him. They know how much damage he can create out of a little space. Also, Scaloni needs extra credit for adapting to every different opponent: - Everyone struggled against Croatia's defence, he starts the game letting them control the game and playing after recovering the ball in Arg's field with extra space. - Made Di Maria play on the side he is less comfortable, just to create extra pressure on the weak side of France.

The false center back, is actually a variation of the maneuver called “La Salida Lavolpiana”, which derives from the Argentinan coach Ricardo La Volpe. You’ll see a slightly different variation of this in Pep’s build up, in which his holding midfielder will drop between the split center backs while the fullbacks push up to join the midfield line. The reason for this, Pep Guardiola crossed paths with Ricardo La Volpe in the twilight of his playing career while in Mexico.
