Cheers Harry, this was a great experiment back in the day, when cars didn't all look the same, think Goodyear weren't keen on developing those small front tyres for just one team.

Yes direct fit. Just trim the shaft to 7MM.

Another great video. Much as it saddens me, my self discipline informs that I should pass on these. I am sure that if there was not so much else to choose out there then I would stick and not twist on them. They do look great and they do remind my of my first cognisance of Formula 1, as a sport, back in 1976 when I was a young and wide eyed 13 year old. Not so very long after this, I do otherwise recall my sense of somewhat somewhat dissipated and necessarily uninformed disappointment when Scalextric instead offered up a 6 wheeled March instead of this 'real deal'. To be fair I suspect there may have been licencing issues and the technologies did not exist back then for when it comes to producing the models we all know and love and have come to expect today.? As it is and, having turned 60 earlier this month, I have otherwise treated myself to one of the new BRM , 1:24 Jagermeister VW Sciroccos which I'll be testing out this weekend. I very nearly bought a used one of these as my first purchase real car over here in England back in 1986 but thought better of it because of the condition at the time. These look great if not a bit 'high' (CoG) when referenced against 1:32. I suspect I'll order the silver and blue running mate before Monday dawns but fist let's see how this one rolls. :)

Hey Harry. Really glad you reviewed this one! Do you by chance have the 6-wheeled March Scalextric did back in the early 80”s? Would love to see how that compares with the Tyrrells

Harry -- how do the 18K conversions stand up against Policars???

Well they don't really. But then the Policars did not equal the stock Scaleys since they are about 3500K more. I have converted at least half my Policars to the Predator to make my grid as equal as I can.

@@Homeracingworld Yeh, it's tough. I''ve been thinking of converting the Scaley's to Policar in the same attempt. Is there a Predator that is close to Policar...or>>?

@@g.stevencleere6455 nothing in the 25k range but if you want more top K then I would stick with Policar all day. Saves you time and $$$ having to convert them anyways.
