356 Grand Prix Challenge
This competition will be open to the first six (6) entrants who purchase a Scale Car Garage 356 body kit at a cost of $40.00 USD and have a completed car ready for competition to Scale Car Garage by June 14, 2024.

Shipping Costs
The cost of shipping the body kits to the entrants will be paid by Scale Car Garage.
The cost of shipping the car to Scale Car Garage to participate in this competition will be paid by the entrant.
The cost of shipping the car back to the entrant after the competition will be paid by Scale Car Garage.
The Competition
The cars must be received by Scale Car Garage by June 14, 2024
The cars will be driven over the weekend of June 21, 22 and 23, 2024.
The cars will be driven in two timed “free practice” sessions, one in each direction, to ensure proper operation and to determine the optimal controller settings for each car.
On “Race Day” each car will be driven by me (John) as quickly as possible for fifteen (15) laps clockwise and for fifteen (15) laps counter clockwise on the “Kit’s Spa” circuit.
The car with the lowest combined lap time on “Race Day” will win.
Prize Distribution
The total revenue generated from these sales ($240.00 USD) will be the source of the prizes to be earned by the entrants and distributed as follows:
1st place - $100.00 USD
2nd place - $50.00 USD
3rd place - $40.00 USD
4th place - $25.00 USD
5th place - $15.00 USD
6th place - $10.00 USD
The Track
The competition will be held on the “Kit’s Spa” circuit which is composed of Carrera track pieces which has been painted with latex interior house paint, is 55 feet in length is powered by a Pyramid power supply set at eleven (11) volts using Professor Motor controllers and resides in Scale Car Garage.

The Cars
For a cost of $40.00 USD, entrants will be sent a Scale Car Garage 356 body kit.
The kit is composed of:
Porsche 356 Parts List
• Body
• Interior
• Boot cover
• Dashboard
• Photo etch sheet (Resin casting)
• Stock steering wheel
• Racing steering wheel
• Side view mirror (Ray Dot)
• Rear view mirror
• Windshield
• Headlight lenses
• Wheel inserts
• Body side moldings (steel strips)
• Driver body
• Driver head
• Driver arms
All components of this kit are to be used in the build as provided - that is - no part can be altered in any way with the following exceptions:
The side view mirror, rear view mirror and windshield wipers can be omitted.
The Porsche emblems are optional and at the entrant’s discretion.
The body mounts as cast in the body shell may be altered and/or removed to accommodate the entrant’s scratch built chassis mounting method/system.
Also included will be a motor, four wheels that fit on a 3/32 axels and four forty (40) shore urethane tires which must be used on the completed car.
Axels to be provided by the entrant.
Gearing is up to the entrant.
Chassis layout and material used in its structure is at the entrant’s discretion.

Thanks so much! The cars being driven for the Scale Car Garage 356 Grand Prix Challenge have not been built by myself and I was so impressed by the use of tire decals on two of the entries! I don't know where the entrants obtained these decals, they look absolutely great and seem to be holding up well with use.

I used the brand "Interdecal" just Google ' Tin Wizard Modelcars & Interdecal ' (Unfortunately I cannot place the link here😊)
What voltage are you running at ? Just curious ,home tracks we run at 10.5v and commercial I think runs at 13.5..
