SCA Heavy Combat | Medieval Rattan Sword and Shield Fight | Master Tonis v Captain Magrat
A sword and shield heavy combat (armored combat) fight between two combatants from the Middle Kingdom's Summer Crown Tournament event in 2021. The overall winner of the day's combat fights will be crowned Prince for a few months and then become King for 6 months.
The fighter with the red and blue tunic with white trim is Master Tonis van Driele, fighting on behalf Lady Anne Mulligan. His opponent is Captain Magrat Catte, fighting on behalf of Duke Palymar.
For anyone curious about what exactly the 'SCA' is -- The Society for Creative Anachronism is an international, non-profit educational organization that studies and recreates the medieval and Renaissance years of 600-1600AD.

I fight usually polearm or two swords. I am ambidextrous so I don't care for shields.

Is thrusting allowed in SCA heavy combat? If yes, can it be to any openings or only certain areas?

Yes, thrusting is allowed in Heavy. Face thrusts are to be light "positive contact" only, while thrusts to the body must be done with authority. You just don't see it as often here because in the Midrealm for a long time thrusting was illegal, so that still has an effect on our fighting style.
