love the way his tone just dropped when getting back to revolution :')

The other ones feel faster because people actually fight! No one is counter camping or baiting dashes, that what makes the other games so much better then Revolution. Amazing how one thing, one really stupid thing, the counter, destroyed all the Storm's mechanics and style's.

DasVicks64 You could allways be defensive in the other games, there were almost no punish to any atacking or defensive player. Rev changed it all, making the atacker allways get punished of actually trying to fight.

Rodrigo Barbosa. Yes there was a risk to being super defensive, your guard would break no stop in Storm 3 and Gens, not 2 though of course. But in Rev now they have counter and a nearly unbreakable guard. Plus with slowed down air dashing catching them is a pain in the ass now.

S3 battles are way faster than revolution's. That's because people are still rush happy since there's no counter.

Storm 3 character roster was the best. And my fav was storm 3 as well.

Don't get me wrong boys, I do agree with what he says, I just mean that in SOME cases, it wouldn't be fair. I'm talking as a guy who has a fine but not hyper efficient internet connection, that's it :p Anyway, I think we shouldn't expect anything new regarding punishment for ragequitters. Peace.

I recently went back to Storm 2 and Generations as well. Shit felt weird, man! My favorite Storm game, overall, is probably Storm 3; I was going to say Generations initially, but then I remembered it doesn't have nearly as much content as Storm 3. Now, if we're talking best combat system, then the original Storm (Storm 1) wins, by far.

Viper Joe He is absolutely right. S1 was bad, and i mean baaaaaaad compared to any of the later installments. Wall running was nothing but a barely working cheap gimmick, jutsu clash mostly never happened and any of the other aspect of the game are vastly inferior to even storm 2.

Omg I loved the awakening system in Storm 3 so much. The extra moves you got were so cool and you could do it any match cause you didnt have to choose between ultimates and awakenings.

Good games shikas, and congrats for winning all 4 ranked matches. My opinion about the storm series: Storm 1: best free roam experience, wall running, ultimate jutsus when you awakened I like that a lot. It was a classy and fantastic game. Storm 2: awesome game with more epic boss battles and cool characters with new move sets, and the game was balanced, only op characters were deidara, itachi, and Kiba according to me. Storm generations: it was a fine game as it was only a filler, but characters like Kiba, masked man, tenten, and minato were unstoppable. Minato was unstoppable due to his tilt spamming. It could have been better. Storm 3: awesome game, better and improved boss battles and 1 thing that I really liked was the full burst version, where sauske and itachi fought kabuto. That boss battle was tough to beat but overall I liked it. I really like the 100 missions that came in full burst, by playing you can improve your skill in a way. And thank god all the dlc packs came for free.Also the fighting mechanics were better, it was not that balanced but still I like it because it took some skill to play online and with your friends. Storm revolution: I will say cc2 did a fine job. But I really don't like the new battle system, op characters, and the worst thing of all "drive type". Now noobs can just stay behind defense drive when the support takes damage and attack drive when the opponent is out of subs. Even the unfair ranking pisses me off, but I stopped playing ranked for good when I finally reached rank 15 with a minimum of 5 DC. But fuck revolutions. Unbalanced and unfair because of bp system, counter, drive type. And awakenings like hiruzen needs to be nerfed real bad. I like rev kinda because cc2 updated the move sets of my fav characters like sauske, madara, hashirama. They also made improvements like for tobirama they made him faster and it's good because he is one of my favorites to use. Shishui is the only new character i like because he is serious and has awesome move sets unlike iruka and konahamaru whose ultimate suck big time. And the final I would say about revolutions I like the mecha naruto story although it's a little boring to do but the ending touches your heart. And I love mecha naruto both ultimate jutsu type and awakening type. I like the smoothness as well. Storm 4: I can't wait, hype about it!

Storm 2 was my favorite for the boss battles, the online battle mechanics to where I could actually fight, not be punished for forgetting not to waste subs, and also just the menu and even the soundtrack of the character selection, i even prefer the 2d loading screen, especially with the short loading time. That game just felt perfect to me. Storm generations didn't compare, Storm 3 made me rage... Story was epic, maybe even better than storm 2. But still loved Pain fight lol played that a dozen times. But anyway the multiplayer was awful for me. I might have won 1 of 24 matches against someone, after being a prodigy back in storm 2. I hate it when people try to convince CC2 to bring back those mechanics because it will be so hard to play again, I could never focus, too fast, nothing but chakra dashing, and I always got the bad hand in who will have the last substitution. Storm revolution is my current favorite in game mechanics, because I could counter the chakra dash SPAMMERS trolling by stunning them, then blowing them away with an ultimate until they learn to stop. I beat the number 9 on the leaderboards in a match.

I love storm 2. The story mode blew my mind when I first played it!

I think in storm 4 they should introduce survival mode using the mechanics found in storm 3 story mode. Like how you were ems sasuke fighting all those zetsus, make it a survival mode where you fight endless fodder and they keep getting stronger after each wave. I'd actually consider pre ordering for something like that

Good video man. Generations had the best combat system imo. The tilt cancels could've made the storm series great. But classic CC2 takes something that is good away and replaces it with another host of broken mechanics.

I don't really have memories for Storm 2 since I never owned it. Skipped out on Revolution. Storm 3 was alright but that Instant Awakening made things crazy. Generations may have lacked balance (a lot of spammy, OP characters like Masked Man and PTS Kiba), but I enjoyed the gameplay because from what I've seen it's a lot faster since no one camps for counters and actually fights. Plus I enjoyed the 2D art and stories with the original cutscenes. Generations is, overall, my favorite Storm game unless a miracle happens and Storm 4 tops it.

Story wise I loved Storm 2. But gameplay was I think Generations was the best despite broken characters and frenzy pills 😂😂

My favourite Naruto Storm games are: 1. Storm 3, because it had a GREAT story mode, good free roaming and decent combat system. 2. Generations, this game had the best fillers in the Naruto series, loved it. The combat system was good but the game had OP characters that people spammed the f*ck out. 3. Storm 1, all that this game needed was online mode and it would've been the perfect Storm game. 4. Revolution, is my least favourite Naruto game due to its bad story mode and an unfair Rank system. However i can't deny the fact that it has the smoothest and best combat system out of all the Storm games

Cause free roaming story mode aside. It was very problematic. -Incredibly broken charged jutsus that went through guard like it was nothing-No sub bars and awkward blocking -No back dashing, air dashing or cancelling -Pointless padded awakenings for certain characters -360 analogue spin to use tilt combos -The crazy latency issues that would come from jutsu clashes and ultimate jutsus The only things I genuinely miss from Storm 1 are the side combos, the wall battles and the motion blur effect. Nothing else.

peacekeeperboy Storm 1 wasn't as good as many claim it to be. The combat was extremely slow and there wasn't that much improvisation compared to the stuff you could chain/attempt to do in storm gen and beyond. The story also wasn't that appealing for me(having hardly any cut scenes). I definitely agree with your #1 being Storm 3 though. In my opinion, that game was the closest one to being the "perfect Storm game" and underrated. The story dragged on too much, no REAL rpg elements like Storm 1, gameplay didn't feel as fluid as Storm rev, and replays were cut out, but everything else was on point

I stop playing NS on NS2, because i foresaw that the games where not going to end until the naruto anime finishes. It was going to be a waste of my money.Thks to that, i didint waste any money, because my ps3 broke down. I still think the NS games are awesome, is just im not going to buy a game that later on it would be useless because i got a new version of the game i had.
