My new headcanon ... Roger was horrible with thinking up names. So, every time he has to name something, he goes with Ace. Meaning, Rogers probably also had a Dog named Ace, maybe a parrot too.

My coworker turned 13* this year for the same reason. He's 52 and was telling us about how people always forgot his birthday outside of leapyears, so it was almost a game to see how long it was before he got to celebrate it with his family. His 21st was 2 weeks late 😅

Morgans does beat up a Cipher Pol agent. He's also one of the Underworld Emperors. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he was actually a very competent fighter.

I think Roger had no say in ace's name. His sword likely had a name before he got it, and Rouge probably just named ace after the sword to honor Roger without directly revealing ace's lineage

Its my head cannon Helmepo worked so hard in the marines, just so how could achieve vice-captain so he could dress the way he wants. Since below that rank hed have to be in the standard uniform

Thoughts. 1. I could see the "prime" age range in the One Piece world being tied to the age range Oda spends working on the story. Like, it could end at whatever age he is when he writes the final chapter. 2. When I saw "Yon-cooks" as the title of the last part of the video, my first thought was less about "who makes food for the Gorosei" and more "the top cook on each Yonko crew". Like, Sanji obviously holds that title on the Straw Hat crew. And the guy who fed Linlin with his devil fruit, took her off of that island, and started her pirate life makes sense to give authority over everyone else who cooks for her. But who did Kaido task with keeping the Beast Pirates fed? Who makes the meals when Shanks is on his ship going from one island to the next? Who prepared the feast that likely was held to celebrate Buggy going from Warlord to Emperor?

How I haven't thought this before? Buggy and Black Beard are going to make an alliance against Shanks and Luffy. That's how Zoro is going to face Mihawk near the end of the story and how Shanks and Luffy will be reunited without having to fight each other as pirate capitains. Also I'm pretty sure the marine will try to let them fight and beat the loser. So this is probably going to be related to something big.

If doll is supposedly named after a dog, and aokiji have the name of a bird and they both have conections to saul, can't she just betray the marines as well?

Sorry, this is totally unrelated lol, but it occurred to me re-reading the past chapters regarding the Gorosei and something interesting. How did Catarina Devon KNOW that was St. Saturn? How could she know? Well, when he transformed, did it seem like Kizaru was surprised by it? It's as if HE knew too. So, does that mean ALL admirals know about this? If that's the case, then Aokiji, must've known about their secret too and told the Blackbeard Pirates. Also, regarding the cover art and hearing others wonder how Momonosuke could move it? We'll if you look closesly, it's clearly where Pluton would be. Underwater, in front of the tall cliff walls and the underwater village. Why would it be there? My guess is because of Pluton, but why? Is it some kind of Oda hint that even though Caribou is going to spill the beans, there's a contingency plan in place?? Without spoiling, my guess is, that Vegapunk will get just enough info out there, before he's likely cut-off. I don't think Oda would give too much away, he doesn't usually do that, but I feel it will be just enough to shake the world. I also think that Giant robot is definitely getting in there. There's no way, with GODA foreshadowing, when that thing activated -- there's no way he doesn't jump in the battle at some point. Luffy awakened the robot and perhaps Kuma as well. Seeing how things are playing out in FULL G5 will those drums of liberation really power it on? It's likely they hold off Saturn**, long enough for Vegapunk to get the message out there, before having to retreat. Thanks for my Ted Talk.

With the fact that the betrayal seems to have been the catalyst for Mihawks "Marine hunter" phase is it possible that Mihawk was a Marine? like simple rookie Marine out for justice and what not but then a corrupt superior officer prob tried to sacrifice him and prob a squad he was close to that only he survived, then he went and killed that superior officer leading to his first wanted poster and him deciding he'd go out and kill either any strong marine he could find or just corrupt ones.

So Kuma gave Mihawk a friend, how nice of him.. ❤❤

When ever you get named characters in an sbs always makes it a winner for me happy to get another shanks ally named and another marine especially one of the ladies under tsuru named would love to get the other ladies named in the future too and seeing the other 3 yoncooks. And always fun learning hobbies of the sword members.also love when we get the names of the ships all we need is kaidos main ship and what kings ship would have looked like and what the name of the scorpion ships were.

Was kind of hoping you'd talk about Linaria from the Butterfly Pirates, mentioned in the SBS. I kind of want to know more about her story. I loved learning that Shanks saved her as a child, much like he did Luffy. Shanks definitely seems to have a soft spot for saving kids. It was also cool to learn that she, like Luffy, became a pirate thanks to him. However, she's also an arsonist. I'm curious if she has a Devil Fruit similar to Ace/Sabo's.

Imu and mihawk parralel is getting real as we progress in the story! Mihawk hide in buggy's shadow but he's in control about everything while imu hide in gorosei shadow while also in control about everything. Mihawk has a blackblade while imu is black silhouette. Both have the same eyes. Imu sit's at the top of all those swords representing each country as the king of the world. While mihawk sit's at the top of all swordsman as the world's strongest swordsman/king of swordsman. Mihawk uses the words rabbit and insect the same way garling and gorosei said such words. Kinda indicates mihawk might be connected to them. Maybe garling and the gorosei is he's mentor when he's young! Theory : roger is the reason of mihawk suffered a great betrayal. I believed mihawk and roger did meet before. Maybe at godvalley when mihawk is 5 or somewhere else when mihawk is at his teen. Then roger and mihawk made a promise to one day have a duel once mihawk become stronger. But mihawk suffered a great betrayal when roger broke the promise by surrendering to marines. Hints why mihawk had a grudge on them and start hunting them and bacame the marine hunter ... The betrayal thing and the grudge thing might be separate or might be connected. . .I'll still believe roger is the strongest swordsman during his era without the title of WSS because he failed to create a permanent blackblade which is the pinnacle of swordsmanship. Hints why mihawk is present during Roger's execution and already known/famous during that time!

It just occurred to me that Zoan fruits basically make you a lycanthrope, a la D&D. You gain the ability to take no three forms (humanoid, beast, and hybrid), and you gain those natural resistances. Think I'll incorporate Zian-esque fruits or something like them into my campaign.
