SPECIAL APOSTLE (Prophet) OLANIYI AKOSILE (JP)aka BABA AGBARA ORO is the Founding Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ, Power of The Word Parish, Amikanle Town, Lagos State (South Western Nigeria). It is the 1st Celestial Church Parish in that entire community in Lagos State.
He is a Gifted Prophet, Preacher, Teacher of the word and administrator. Right from his days in the secular working environment some 46 years ago up to when he was called to the vineyard of God and specially into the Celestial Church of Christ fold three decades ago, his life have always radiated humility and a sense of discipline and spiritual leadership of octane value.
In a nutshell, you can conveniently describe him as a truth Seer and a truth speaker. John 8:31 & 32 speaks louder about the personality and responsibility of Prophet Akosile’s type.
His knack for teaching the word of God and appealing to believers to follow the basic ethics and tenet of Celestial Church of Christ as prescribed through Saint SBJ OSCHOFFA according to Romans 12:2 or Thessalonians 2:15 earned the acronym “AGBARA ORO” (Power of the Word).
Years back at CCC, Gbagada Parish in Lagos, his revolutionary preaching and sense of ministration brought his life under threat as some conservative leaders of the parish made attempt on his life and even assassinated his mother during an onslaught on his residence. It was a turning point in his ministry life and today, he remembers that incident and other terrible events marking his call to service with a nostalgic wave.
His Parish celebrated her 20th anniversary on November 19, Year 2023. The 20th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service was tagged “El-Shaddai”.
Asabe Afrika TV team paid him a courtesy visit on Monday July 1st Year 2024 where he opened up on certain events in both the Church community and the political setting.
The gifted Prophet of over three decades in God’s vineyard gave new revelations concerning the country, the church and Nigerian Leader, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
