SB60 GEDA Side Event: Gender-responsive Data for Climate Action

Titled “Gender and Environment Data Alliance: Gender-Responsive Data for Climate Action,” this side event to the 60th meeting of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB60) aims to showcase the critical role of gender data in shaping national climate policies. Highlighting concrete examples from the work of GEDA members, this event will emphasize how gender-responsive data not only enriches the Gender Action Plan but also serves as a foundational element in national climate actions, policies and frameworks. Speakers include Angélica Cordero Gamboa (Ruta del Clima), Diego de León (Out For Sustainability), Martha Bekele (Development Initiatives), and Claudia Rubio (Women's Environment and Development Organization).
