There's so much about him we do not know, and so much we can guess from the niche interests he shows. He's careful and experimental, reserved and eccentric, apprehensive and risky; he's exceedingly complex, mentally. And just absolutely interesting.

*BUWAN* has two different meanings in Tagalog. It could be *”MOON”* or *“MONTH”.* He said “lulan” which means carry or bring.

He had depression before & I think , this is what he felt…praying for him & the rest of SB19 💙🇵🇭 members….thank you so much for this RV …I cried upon hearing this heartfelt song 😢.

He is talking about depression in this song, the effects of the moon of his lunacy. 🥲 I love his poetic words when writing songs. The english translation is on point but if you understand tagalog it hits to the core.❤

Pablo can do everything. From composing/writing lyrics and producing their own songs to performing (singing, rapping and dancing), he excels. This song another evidence how talented he is.

“Pablito acoustic album” YES Efra! I’m all for it.

This is like a teaser on what's to come this coming January 28 (which is seen on the alarm clock in the video). Pablo released this unexpected teaser yesterday midnight PH time which is wolf fullmoon. Pablo's symbol is a wolf and he is like the Alpha of SB19 and Ppop. In the teaser, he is like an alpha wolf howling to the moon through his song.

Pablo's mind is just something else. His lyricism is out of this world. He's got a lot of unreleased songs. My personal favorite is Kumunoy (Quicksand in English, which is as if not more emotional than this one) and Kelan (When, which he performed in their back in the zone concert). He likes to tackle depression and darkness in his songs. Additionally, he is also a great poet. He posted some of his poems in their twitter acct. His brain, man. I'm telling you. 😭

Agree!! Kumunoy is my personal favourite too, it's my pandemic / heartbreak anthem.. The lyrics of kumunoy just cut deep it also open wounds we thought were already healed ... Imagine if Pablo releases the "cut" and raw version of kumunoy like this one, gosh! I'm going to be wrecked for hours (days even). 1 of the main reasons why I'm A'TIN.. because as a group they truly shine! But each of them ( individually) is a masterpiece!

5:41 Pablo has always been amazed and fascinated by the moon. Moon only borrows light from the sun but still does its job well. He once said in an interview that u don't always have to be great/best to make meaningful things. Do what you can do.

His lyrics are all metaphor... you are fascinated with the lyrics as it translated into english but we Filipinos it hit our hearts double or triple than it does to you...its amazing how he put those metaphor in a song...a lyricist genius ...PABLO grabe...

Pablo loves expressing his feelings in his songs. He loves creating these little moments, an atmosphere (unnoticeable to most ears but felt by all who listens), in the songs he produces to make it more relatable to the listeners, transporting or making the listeners feel like a part of the moment of the song, make them feel like it's their song. You can hear it in the intro of MAPA, Mana, and ikako, in the last chorus of What?, Bazinga, and SLMT. Now, in his solo project, he can fully express it. So many of his unreleased songs felt the same way.

Lulan here may mean.. “hatid” mo lang sa aking mundo.. or “dala” mo lang but those are shallow not like lulan which connotes deeper meaning.. parang mapapa “google” ka muna bago mo maintindihan..

Pablo had always a fascination in moon. As what he said on one of the interviews that they have ( if i am not mistaken, from THE JUANS interview), "the moon is just borrowing the light from the sun, but it does its jobs well. You don't have to be always great to do meaningful things. Be better and do what you can do. " Sb19_Pablo my ultimate bias. ❤️

*Pablo is a great songwriter, I must say. And he really is so talented.* I think the title of the song would be “BUWAN” but I’m not sure, coz there’s already a song entitled Buwan (JK Labajo). 😆 But he uploaded this before 12MN last Jan. 17th, it was full moon. And before that, around 10PM, during his FB livestream, he kept on saying that it was full moon... first full moon of the year.. that it was wolf moon. 😅 The lyrics and the way Pablo delivered it really hits to the bone! 💙

Just my personal interpretion of this masterpiece. I think this song is about long distance relationships, the Moon represent your loved ones who visit you during holidays, try to make up for lost time, then leave you again for more important reasons. Pablo is saying although he is grateful for the short visits, it is not enough for him and would rather he is left alone, permanently.

Pablo has so much more to offer. He has a lot of unreleased songs that are gold! Hoping that he will release an album or an EP on the 28th. This song, Kumunoy and Kelan are just a a few of the songs that I'm really hoping to have an official release. A'TIN are so proud of Pinuno. 🥺

Youre getting more and more good in Filipino efra. Love it. Lulan is deeper Tagalog...someone commented already but I love how you two getting more and more familiar in Tagalog.

So in the chorus the lyrics says ' Oh Buwan,ikaw ba ay tunay na kaibigan? Oh Lulan mo lang sa aking mundo ay kalungkutan'. Now I realized that in reference to the werewolf hiding when the full moon comes,he just like them hiding his ideas,opinion and emotions to avoid hurting or offending people around him to maintain peace and harmony. So moon is a friend in a way but it also brings pain to him. He also said in the end 'salamat sa presensya mo pero hindi ko to gusto. Lubayan mo nga'. He thanking the moon for the peace it brings but he's also done with hiding so he want to set himself free once and for all. Man he's really a great composer. What a brilliant song. To think he composed this as a teaser to La Luna lol. It also helps that his voice suits when in this type of song. Awesome.

It's actually "LULAN" that means bring(You bring something). There are other interpretations/meaning of the word depending on its function in the sentence. This is just a teaser I guess. We really don't know what's gonna happen. We're excited for Pablo too!

Pablo is struggling deep inside ( before) and because of that ..he wrote a couple of songs because of what he's been through.. and i think this song is one of them.. and he released this just now.. He even said that he has a lot of songs right under his closet.. He is good at writing songs with deeper meanings..

Pablo seems to have a lot of new songs up his sleeves. He said in one interview that he is very fascinated with the Moon. That's why we call him the Leader of the wolf pack! He howls when the moon is full! Hahaha! Not kidding but He released this video on a Full moon!

So here is what he shared in the interview. The MV theme and the song itself was inspired from a werewolf show. And Pablo is fascinated in moon. According to him just like a werewolf who hide themselves when Full moon comes to avoid hurting people (vampire diaries),he feels like he sometimes needs to hide his opinion,ideas and emotions to avoid other people to be offended. As a person who is opinionated and straight forward people tend to got offended by his words. They see him as offensive and boastful. So for him la Luna means hiding your pent up emotions to avoid confict and have peace,not knowing he himself doesn't have a peace of mind. Like what he said there is war inside of him. He actually written the song way back 2019 before they blew up in go up era. The lyrics are his pent up emotions and frustration. Kind of like his way of releasing his frustation. He find it therapeutic just like writing a journal for some of us. That is why in the MV we saw two Pablo conversing with one another. It is him asking himself if is it really okay to set himself free and to show his true self. It is really okay to express his opinion and ideas to other people. Then at the end of the song he concluded that it is okay. Like what he said,all of us have a valid feelings. Because some of us,like him feels like our feeling is not valid. But no matter how little or un significant our emotions felt like for us, it matters. So thats it. It is a very inspiring song.

Also Efra, the word was "LULAN". You hardly hear this word nowadays. It is a bit of an archaic verb, but it fits the song perfectly and somehow it didn't even sound cheesy. "Lulan" means something like "brought by". It's kinda difficult to explain it in English but in this case he said something like "(...o) LULAN mo lang sa 'king mundo ay kalungkutan?". I might have missed a few words, but it meant something like "(...Or) [do you] just BRING sadness (misery) into my world (life)?"

One of Pablo‘s influences is indeed Dean, as he revealed in one of the SB19 interviews. It‘s interesting that this reminded you Dean. I‘m looking forward to his official release on Jan. 28th since this was supposed to be just a „teaser“.

The literal translation of: O buwan! Lulan mo lang sa'king mundo ay kalungkutan ...is actually "Oh moon! You bring sadness into my world" which I think is more poetic seeing as the moon shines on Earth but is dimmer than the sun. So it virtually paints a picture of someone longing to be fully free from "darkness" (could be depression). For me, the moon is only a temporary solace at night. It gives a little hope/light, so should I be thankful for that when what I really want is the sun (long-lasting joy)? This is just my interpretation hehe..
