Just sharing. There was a PPOP event without SB19 just a few months ago where the moms of the boys were invited, Stell's mom said that she's grateful to Justin and his parents because he can definitely afford expensive clothes for shows and events back then but they didn't even try to buy. Why? Because they know, the other boys couldn't afford them (and probably he'll stick out like a sore thumb). They were so considerate for that. Instead, they all rorate wearing Pablo's clothes among themselves and had to wear a very few sets over and over again (she even shared that Stell would often bring home those clothes/costumes for her to wash). Stell literally inherited her mom's character. Jolly and appreciative. No one ever talked or pointed that about Justin and his family and would have been just burried in the story of SB19's struggle coz who would really pay attention to Justin's story, right? Coz people would just dismiss him as a rich kid of SB19. But Stell's mom didn't let it pass without appreciating the gesture. So heartwarming to know.

@@melaniereacts I know, right? But more than that, Justin's mom's humility is over the roof. She was so shy and I feel like didn't want to bring that story up. SB19's moms are something else. You could see the boys' characters in them. No wonder they raised such wonderful boys. I just hope Ken's mom would join them. Pretty sure they always invite her in their vlogs (moms' vlogs) but as Ken would say, he's like his mom. Shy and quiet and probably didn't want want to be in the spotlight. Plus, they live in the south so it's harder to be present in events.

The think about these boys is that we grow to love THEM. I swear, if they were to stop being artists today, I would continue to love them. I’d like to protect them always.

Just watched this RV. They really are so inspiring.They clung to whatever little hope they had 🥺 And they all contributed to their success. Idk I'm also really fascinated on how SB19's dynamic is so good. One thing to note - Pablo is a Christian and as far as I know, The Juans are also Christians. They sing worship songs and stuff. Ken grew up in a religious family as well. Their character, the hope and perseverance comes from a deep understanding that they are made for a purpose and that important things are not superficial. That's one of the things that made them special.

It was not explicitly said here but when Pablo said Stell is the most vulnerable, it meant Stell was the most bashed for his visuals when they started. Also most probably why he was bullied before. He was afraid to put himself out there because he lacked confidence.

This shows the very persona of a Filipino that sometimes get diverted by outside elements. If you watch Filiino talent joining local or international competitions most of them would say they are poor and life struggle here. When actually it is not just environment you are in but the struggle is within you. So this is a motivation in a sense that it doesn't matter where you are but how you deal with your situations and sometime you have to go through sacrifices and real work. This too has motivated me how these young boys are truly focused on their goals it is a collective effort that made them stronger as a group.

I will never forget how, in Josh's vlog, he said that some people took advantage of his desperation to survive during his most vulnerable times. And then he had to pause/cut that part because he started sobbing. There was just so much unspoken pain there. I can only hope he has healed from whatever that trauma was.

Yeah I ended up watching that Vlog, I cried at that part. The pain in his eyes and in his voice. I really wanted to give him the biggest hug 😔

This will be my daily inspiration till I grow old and die to fight in life and be kind. 😶

I just hope all young people know English, to absorb all this learnings.. I'm happy still, on how wide or little this could reach them , just do my part .. to more than . This realm.. peace

It is when I heard their stories that I fell in love with the group. I saw them when they were starting but I didn't pay much attention or maybe I was so busy with my own life. And I didn't like the thought that were kpop wanna be. I am not a basher back then but I've watched a kind of documentary before and I saw how those korean company build and train tgeir talents and I felt bad somehow. I also felt bad when I once watched them reading bad comments about them. But they were so strong to ignore those bashing. And just keep on going with their dreams. Good job SB19 As one of A'tin myself, wishing you more success ❤❤❤

I recommend the "making of what" vlog there are multiple parts but it gives you behind the scenes ❤

i actually studied in Pablo's uni for a while until we had to move to the province because of the pandemic. and they also went there to perform one year before i went there🥲lol i didnt know them yet

In this video..I appreciate Pablo most, esp sharing his faith. It validates further that we stan the right group and the right individuals...who use their platform to inspire and motivate incorporating their faith in the Lord in their work.

I cried when Pablo told his story because I can relate to him. All of us have our own story and journey. SB19 is an inspiration and the reason why I stan them, their perseverance and resilience. You have to be brave, take the risk, and get out of your comfort zone. And most of all, always believe in yourself. When people say, "You can't make it," prove them wrong and rise about their doubts. Your success is the sweetest revenge.

@@freeze4029 I just forgot about an issue between Cashual Chuck and sb19officials staff that prompted Chuck to lie low for a while. Pablo's lips are sealed regarding his "past" actions/decisions.

Thanks Mel for diving deep SB19's stories. Really can't imagine Pablo's unspeakable things, before Pablo's saved his soul from making music and now Pablo saves so many people through his music. Hope you react to Pablo's song Kumunoy in LA (Kumunoy at GITZ concert too) and ??? Together with La Luna and Ilaw we think that these songs was based on his experiences with that unspeakable things he said. They are each other strengths and anchor. We love this 5 so much and A'tin will protect them at all costs. Glad they are in a great condition now. ❤☺️

Thanks Melanie! Now you got to know their stories, you should watch their showbreaks or vlogs so you can see their personalities. They are so chaotic and extremely funny, especially Stell! 🤍 I recommend starting with the older ones like the mission in Cebu and Davao. And one of my fave was their Christmas ep where they did Christmas carols to fund their gifts to each other 😁

If I get his drift, Pablo might mean trying to take his own life as the “unspeakable thing” he mentioned. I think he has the tendency to be hard on himself, doubting even when he already accomplished more than any one can ever do in a lifetime. Good thing, though, that his faith in God always gives him the impetus to hold on. And yet again, he gave a poignant outlook when he said here that the moon may only borrow its light from the sun but it does its job well. ❤

This interview is really nice, because they trully opened up here. SB19 & The Juans are so close that they really support each other. When The Juans went to SB19's Pagtatag opening concert, I almost cried. They cheered for their brothers and are so proud of them.

I've watched this multiple times, yet each time, I find myself tearing up as if it were my first viewing. If only the critics understood the extent of their struggles and resilience, perhaps they would cease their negativity. Even if they don't become fans, it's important to at least respect them. Anyway Melanie, have you had a chance to check out Ken's interview on DougBrock TV on KZread? In it, he shares many of the challenges he faced from childhood to achieving his dreams with SB19. Although it's quite lengthy, but if you're a Sisiw, you won't find it boring. You'll also discover a lot about him that he hadn't previously discussed. I've always believed that Ken has faced many hardships in life, but he doesn't always share them because some stories are reserved for every interview. Despite his struggles, he maintains a positive outlook and gratitude for everything. Thats what I like most about him

Pablo’s story makes me cry all the time, but in fairness ALL of them and their stories makes me cry 😭. Hugs to you and ALL A’tin, let’s spread love and positivity always. I think they can share quite openly about their past because they've made peace with it. They are not ashamed of their pasts nor do they brag about it. They seem to have come to a point where their past gives them impetus to keep forging ahead but they do not hate what they have been through either. They've honored it by acknowledging it has happened and tried to glean what strength and learnings they can from it.

What made me cry is the Pablo's part,🥹🥺 Pablo just look like a strong person from the very begginning when the other members are telling their own stories Pablo was just smiling, joking, and laughing the whole time. you can tell that he was just tryin to act strong but deep inside he also have his own struggles that he never open up to anyone before, that is why when it's his turn to talk about his own story he can't hold it anymore, he cried. And that's what made me cry too...😭😭 coz i can relate so much from him. Coz i am that type of person too, who don't like to share or open up to anyone about my own struggles, i always act strong even tho i'm already hurting inside, i never show my real emotion, i hide my pain thru my smile. But when i finally opened up about my struggles, i can't help but break down. 😭😭

I relate to this so much. A lot of people call me a closed book. I am very emotional and share my thoughts a lot. But I actually never get deep with anyone. I never share my true struggles. I think it’s because I don’t like to burden people? Or maybe it’s because I feel like I can solve it myself so i don’t want others to try and give me their opinions? It’s been this way my whole life. Huge traumatic events happening and ppl only knowing once I’ve “recovered” from it or handled the situation on my own to the point that it’s all in the past. Pablo probably feels the need to be strong as the leader. He probably takes that role really seriously. But I loved that he became vulnerable and allowed himself to open up. I can’t imagine his true thoughts. I just wanted to give him the biggest hug ❤️

WHAT era is really something else this era is the time when I became a fan of sb19.
