The truth is when Ken didn't continue to study his parents didn't talk to him for years. When he celebrated his birthday in a livestream after they debuted., his parents then greeted him and he cried.. After that on his birthday the next year after that A'tin gave him all the birthday cakes he missed from birth.

Thanks for this RV. Just an additional info. Josh grew up without a father figure that's why he became independent at an early age. Sobrang hirap din ng pinagdaanan nya.Same goes with Ken, he only met his parents twice. He grew up with his folks. It's not an easy decision for him to pursue his passion. 2 years syang di kinausap ng parents nya because of that. As a group, they remain humble despite their success. SB19 is worth stanning. They produce quality music, world class performance and indeed a very talented individuals.

To give more context on their timeline as a group, ShowBT Philippines was established in the last quarter of 2016. They held auditions for entertainers. Pablo, Josh and Stell were the first to join the first few rounds of auditions and were accepted as trainees. Justin came in the company thru a workshop around mid to late 2017 (he was in his senior year and was invited by Josh). He was invited to become a trainee by their teacher during his workshop. Ken came to the group first quarter of 2018, recruited by Josh to audition as a trainee. SB19 debuted as a group on October 26, 2018. Go Up dance practice went viral on September 2, 2019 and the rest was history.

Kaya nga napilitang mag abroad ang parent's niya sa Malaysia para mapag aral sila ng ate niya, kaya lang may sarili ring pangarap si Ken na gusto niya'ng i pursue aside sa studie's niya, 'yun na nga Josh is responsible kung bakit nai pushed ni Ken ang passion niya na contradicted naman ang parent's niya kaya hindi siya kinausap for 2 long yrs., it's hard!🤧 Last year was a tough & painful year for Ken dahil while they achieving their dream's his lola passed away last May, 'yung isa sa tao na pinakamahalaga sa kaniya na reason din kung bakit sumugal siya sa mga pangarap niya kasi sinuportahan siya kahit na ano ang mangyari, tama'ng, tama kari released lang ng MAPA, binigyan lang siya 'yata ng short time para makauwi sa kanila, hindi ko lang alam kung umuwi ba ang parent's niya kasi sabi niya dati parang twice lang 'ata sila nagkita ng Mama at Papa niya, after 7 month's sumunod ang lolo ni Ken at Dec.26, 2021 pa namatay, 'yung grand parent's niya ang naging MAPA niya rito sa 🇵🇭 at ngayon ay nawala na, kaya sobra'ng mahal na mahal siya ng A'tin kasi he need's more love na hinahanap niya sa parent's niya, kumbaga sila'ng 2 talaga ni Josh ang may saddest storie's sa 5 pero inspiring sila'ng lahat kaya nga sana gawan sila ng lifestory movie na sila rin ang gaganap, marami talaga sila'ng mai inspire at mamo motivate na kabataan dahil sa humble beginning's nila na akma sa panahon ngayon dahil sa dami ng pinagdadaanan ng buo'ng mundo!🌏 Siguro 'yung twitter account na nag share ng video nila eh angel 'yon kasi no'ng ipinahanap ng SB-19 ang tao na 'yon hindi na nila mahanap!🧐 An angel in disguised😇 O siya kap's SLMT talaga dahil since no'ng napanood ninyo ang boy's eh tinuloy, tuloy na ninyo ang pagsubaybay sa kanila. 🇵🇭pride na sila ngayon at the only Filipino's na nakapasok at na nominate sa BBMA at M-EMA na kahit sino'ng local artist's eh hindi pa nagawa, hindi pa sila galing sa malalaking network's ha unlike 'yung mga nagsunurang P pop group's ngayon sa kanila, they paved the way talaga & they're part na ng O.P.M. history but their feet still on the ground, kaya MAHALIMA talaga, our pride & joy!🔥🌭🍓🐓🌽💙👏👏👏👏👏

Sir panuorin mo po ang kwentong Juan Ng the Juan mga kwento Ng SB19 po.. magugulat kanalang po na ganun Pala pinagdaanan nila bago sila maging artist..lalo na si ken at Josh..grabe..or panuorin nyo po ang vlog ni Josh Yung bad experience nya sa buhay..na shock Kami dun sa kwento nya na never naming akalaing nangyari sakanya.. example na Yung katulong nila nuon na minaltrato sya tinuluan Ng kandila sa buong katawan Goshh..by the way thank you po sa reaction..

I heard that they auditioned just to get selected for free trainings of their current company (kasi normally and originally in South Korea, kids who wanted to be trained for kpop has to pay. Hindi libre yung training sessions. You'll be lucky to get it free when companies call out for auditions for free training selections). Sa free trainings... walang suweldo but there's allowance naman po and sometimes free meals din yata. But everything with regards to different workshop trainings, they are fully covered by the company.

I don’t think they have free meals. If u watch KwentoJuan episodes with SB19. Nag babaon si Pablo if walang baon si Pablo hindi din makakakain si Josh. Since humihingi lang sya. If walang pera naglalakad pauwi. Not like here in Korea na may own housing ang mga malalaking entertainment at may meals sa company. If u know ShowBT Philippines is not big entertainment company. Maliit lang sila na “events company”. They were first form to be a performer during events.

Free training pero dapat full time, hindi libre ang pamasahe at pagkain kaya buwis buhay talaga ang isinakripisyo nila sa pangarap nila na 'to plus no more social life, imagine how exshausted that, tapos may issue pa sa family & friend's, wala'ng assurance ang patutunguhan, suntok sa buwan, gumawa ng new sound na hindi tinanggap no'ng una dahil ang turing sa kanila ay copy cat's, Show BT is not that big Korean ent. Co. pero kasi nga ang haba ng pasensiya nila sa training puhunan na nagbunga naman dahil kasi takda para sa kanila.

@@heyyol Yeah that's why I said free meals "yata"... to note out I wasn't sure. Yes events performer din po sila, that's when they get paid, pero hindi lagi may events. Sabi ni Pablo in one of their interviews, masuwerte na kung meron silang 3-4 events sa isang buwan. Performing in an event is a part of their training ground as well to handle pressure performing in crowds. There are times they don't get paid performance events, so they do busking around in malls where they just perform na kahit walang nanonood. Obviously, ShowBT handled SB19 boys differently from what the usual South Korean groups and it turned out it became as SB19's huge advantage over usual kpop groups and other ppop groups in Asia. It strengthens them as a group. In short, test of character ang ginawa ng ShowBT sa kanila.

@@lorenaracan7307 Yeah hindi nila sagot pamasahe, pero sagot nila transportation expense kapag may events, that's when they get allowance din. Pero super madalang lang yon. Pagdating sa pagkain no free meals kpag nasa training mode sila sa studio, pero yung Boss laging nanlilibre to eat out in restaurants that's when after events or hindi naman kapag may visitors yung mga bosses para i-introduce sila. Watch all their vlogs that's when you get their lives, hindi yung sa TheJuans interview, ngayon lang yan eh.

There are new Ppop groups in the Philippines now na mayaman ang management nila so sagot lahat ng training, grand launch kaagad and concert na agad after 1 month ng launch. Pero di sila ganon kagaling. Kaya mas heartwarming yung story SB19 kasi dumaan talaga sila sa karayom. Pinaghirapan nila lahat ng what they have now and they truly deserve the accolades and awards they get now :)
