Us Filipinos are very Family Oriented. Even if we are already adults, we still live with our parents. "Rest for now, I'll take care of everything" It can have a double meaning for others, it can mean them telling mom and dad to 'take a break' so to speak, it is now the child's turn to take care of them. For others, it's like telling their parents who are no longer around, to not worry while on the other side, that the child has taken to heart the parent's teaching and can now stand on their own feet, "To just rest peacefully now without worries, I can handle it" 😭😭

Josh singing about his "papa" is so painful because he grew up without a dad. I think it's his unsaid words to his dad that's why his voice conveyed so much raw emotions. 😭

What is Josh story po? I'm just so curious.. Yan po lagi nababasa ko eh. Wala na po ba siyang tatay? His line literally hit me too po. My father died last 2011. Am so sad kasi hnd man lang niya naabutan nung nakilala ko yung hubby ko, 2012 kami nagkakilala ng asawa ko. Wala lang, nanghinayang lang ako na sana nakilala man lang niya yung asawa ko. 😔😔 my hubby is so responsible, kind and loving man. Same sila. So sad kasi sa dindalaw nalang namin siya sa puntod niya ngayon.. Omg, am teary-eyed now

The way Pablo assigned the lyrics ,,,, grrrrr 😭 They’ve said before Justin and Stell are the sweetest of the group because they’re always checking in and on their Moms. Then the verses to the Dads sung by the three who don’t have their dads beside them. So tired of crying but can’t stop listening. Sigh.

This is a masterpiece written by Pablo in collaboration with the rest of SB19. This is a love letter to our parents. For some if not most, we barely tell our parents how we feel inside. This masterpiece will help us do another move to tell them how much we value and love them. In the song, “we will never get lost because we have the Mapa (Map)”. The map represent our parents. The things they taught us, the sacrifices, the advise they give and hardships. We will never get lost so long as we have the Map (Map). In the Filipino culture, we children have great regard to our parents / elderly. Most of us we would want to give back. Times wherein we just want our parents to stay still and its time for us (children) to do the rest. We want them to rest from the days and time they give and sacrifices for us. This song hits the hardest if we have those regrets if not being able to give back and let them rest from those tiring days they spent for us. Regrets prolly due to some unforeseen events. Event where they can no longer hear our “thank you” and gratefulness towards them. Regrets prolly because we don’t have the capability yet of returning the favor (though they never ask for it). Regrets prolly because we are far from them and this pandemic is hindering us of being with them or for any reason. Normally our parents (MaPa) would not share how hard life is, they would not tell us how tight things are. They would always keep inside them the struggles they are facing and normally they will always show their happy face for us not to worry. First part of the song, Justin talks about how our parents (MaPa) prioritize us in all aspects. In the Filipino culture, remember the day when you as a kid cries asking for a balloon and our parent would graciously get some coins and buy one for you. It's 1 AM now here in the Philippines and I've watched a lots of reaction videos and I kept on listening on this song but I never get tired of it. The lyrics are so genuinely sweet and sincere. That's why I love them. They sing from their hearts. SB19 did it again!💙💙💙

This is not just a song its a poem in the form of a song. I cried a lot. Their emotions were filled in the song..

With 30 times watching and analysis of the video lyrics... I conclude that this is a Lullaby for Parents.

Josh's part is really painful though. His part talks about father-which he didn't meet yet- and the memories they had when he was a kid.😭😭😭😭

Kens voice is so soothing to the ears, so heartfelt❤️

As a Child I admit that I am not to open to my parents, to show them that I really love them, I keep it to myself because I don't know how can I show my feelings for them, but for me they're are the most treasured I have In my life.
