It applies to all contexts. Pablo is writing storms of thinking in our minds. It applies to all their supporters and maybe even their haters. Bazinga line - your hate is like gasolina. In the case of haters it becomes sarcasm. It could also be towards God. Bazinga line - when I got the Almighty with me. To special loved ones.

For me, Ilaw was about their struggle during their starting years when their talents were unnoticed even though they wanted to show it to the world. But most people and the media criticized them and not looking at their strengths but their flaws. Liham is their appreciation letter to their fan (A'TIN) who saw their value and talent. They stuck with the boys and gave them assurances that's why they have that "certainty". They love their fans very much. Liham is also for a wedding, to their future partners.

WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS SONG I CRIED A RIVER. IT’s LIKE A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ME AND GOD. During their PAGTATAG kickoff concert in Manila, a bride and her groom emerg ed. That's when I realized that Pablo wrote the most romantic song ever. It's a song of deep commitment. Some would even say too deep for the shallowness the world had become. If Liham is the certified wedding song, I Want You is the honeymoon song.😬😬😬

This song can also resonate to people differently. An unconditional love, a love letter to anyone that you hold dear to your heart. But SB19 did say at their concert about being a letter to A’tin. It’s better to hear the song then the real meaning reveals to you as you resonate to it. If you dissect the meaning line by line can change the message 😍😍😍 thanks for this RV. Pablo said it’s different for every person as we experience life so different, who is the one you love?❤❤❤ the line that stuck to me is, what if we didn’t meet? Imagining my life without that person in my life is painful 😢😢😢

You need to go to the concert Kayse! Even in smaller settings like in the USA the give it 110 percent! Liham, to me, is a letter to A'Tin, their fans. Freedom which is last is a celebration of their Freedom to create their own music they way they want to with no restrictions. They are now CEO'S of 1z entertainment, their own company. Every song on this EP tells a story of their journey to success!

I think this song has lots of interpretations, I thought about like they are talking with God and God says, "NARITO AKO TAPAT LANG AT TOTOO ,PINAPANGAKO SA IYO" mean "IM HERE FAITHFUL AND TRUE ,I PROMISE YOU" .. And it could be like they are talking about A'TINs and their Brotherhood ❤️

That "my apology" line was the kicker. It turned this song from a present to a past perspective. Brilliant writing.

LIHAM for me is a tribute letter to their fans A'Tin.,this is based on their lyrics itself..Because everything changed after getting viral in their song, GO UP..if we try to analyze the song, it's a song of love and dedication , because there is a phrase or words telling us(A'Tin) a promise .

9:46 I think that's what it is. I watched a vid of them performing this at their Manila concert and Pablo said in Tagalog, "This is our letter to you (the fans)." Something I noticed is that they are always, always grateful for their fans. This is probably the 3rd song that seemed to be dedicated for their fans. First was SLMT, and then this, but I also interpreted Freedom as a song for their fans. But that's just me. 😊

I love how you dissected the song and the meaning behind it. You were right on btw! Thanks for your reaction. Much like any other form of art, music follows that trajectory. It is all up to the listener to interpret what the song means. Pablo, who is the composer for practically all SB19 songs, admits he loves to do wordplay and double entendre. Ilaw, for example, is a song that could be interpreted in many different ways to a listener. Actually it can be interpreted in so many ways.. as a love song, in could be love romantically. Love for family, and love for A'tin. But if we try to connect it to "ilaw", which tells the story of them when at some point of their life, no one listened to them, and no one noticed them, but when it comes to "Liham" there's someone whose there for them, who will listen to them, who will love them no matter what happen. That's why they said in the song they are now at peace. They wrote a letter (liham) to the one they love (it could be for their family, especial someone, or for the A'tin). I think Liham is their present now, where ilaw is their past.. this is what I think, if we connect ilaw to liham. Anyways, thank you for your reaction.. thank you for supporting our mahalima.. 😉

It's a Love song and not a sequel to Ilaw but a part of Pagtatag.

theres no story nor continuation. at least that was not the intent. it all just depends on the individual's interpretation. and you wont actually notice that it's 6 minutes long.

Yeah I probably was overthinking it but they have been known for their creativity in writing lyrics. Although, after watching the whole video I still feel like it's connected in some way, even if that wasn't the intention. In ilaw they are going through rough times and it talks about their past. This one, liham, focuses more on the present, and, according to a lot of people, is a song written for the A'tin. I'm told that's what SB19 said in an interview. So the two do seem to be connected, but of course music is open to many different interpretations, which is one of my favorite parts about music. SB19 is just so creative with their lyrics! 😄💯

I think you might have misunderstood me. That's a good thing lol. If it's their longest song that's quite the accomplishment. Also, with how clever SB19 is and the level of creativity they put into every performance, it's never a bad idea to spend some time analyzing their songs. Otherwise, you might miss a bunch of stuff. There are plenty of reaction channels that just sit there and don't say anything, but hey if that's what you're looking for. I'm not like that and never will be, but if you ever want to have a discussion about SB19 I'm always down to dive deeper into them as an artist and learn more 😄💯
