Episode 449 welcomes SB19, a five-member boy band from the Philippines, to make its first appearance on THE FIRST TAKE.
SB19 is the very first Southeast Asian artist to be nominated as Top Social Artist at the 2021 U.S. Billboard Music Awards,
and they will be performing their song “GENTO,” which became a hit on TikTok for its addictive
phrase and unique dance moves.

SB19's "Gento," on The First Take is a total vibe. The minimalist setup of the show lets their vocals and emotions take center stage. No flashy stuff, jus pure talent. Each member nails their part and their harmonies are fire. It's raw, real and shows they don't need all the extras to slay a performance. Definitely a must-watch! 😊

This version of Gento is so beautiful. You can really hear each of their voices without anything other than the beat of the drum. And those ad libs! Wow! It’s so crazy clean and clear. Loved it! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
