it gets worse: Highway Star is kept in the subtitles and voice acting, but changed in the EPISODE NAME on Netflix to Highway Go Go, the localized name. same thing for Crazy Diamond (Shining Diamond). Vanilla Ice on the other hand gets changed in the subtitles (Cool Ice), but not the episode name, same for Oingo Boingo (Zenyatta Mondatta).

I figured that "Bruford" being localized as "Blueford" was mostly just adapting the phonetics, much like how in Monster Hunter XX (before it released in the west as Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate) had Valfalk, which was a direct-translated version of its Japanese name, Barufaruku. Valfalk was the name we had until Generations Ultimate came along in August of 2018 and gave it the localized name of Valstrax.

I'm very proud of polish Netflix subtitles because of using ¾ names which are just better (Santviento, Enyaba, Billie Jean)

Wait they localize the names of the users too? Weird.
