It matters my son (9) had a therapy session about 2 days ago broke down about the death of his father during and after when he got back home and told me what happened in therapy. I talked to the therapist n she said she got emotional and wanted to break down cuz he was so hurt and didn’t know how to process his grief. I tried letting him know that it was okay to cry and grieve I just didn’t know that he didn’t fully understand what grief was.
