Hey Daniel Just a suggestion if you have another baby Kane. Have to separate ropes. Your your Iead and then another lead if its long enough to put around his bum or a rope probably best. Pull on the lead if he doesn't respond pull on flank rope and lead same time to bring him forward. That makes it alot easier and your up front where you should be. Always worked on my foals. Great video👍

Meat from family farms is much better than meat from the grocery store. We bought a half a beef and fell in love with beef! Bought a whole beef from the same farm this year. More flavor and more tender than any I ever bought from the grocery store!

It's not a matter of his not wanting to go. He had no idea he was going anywhere since they don't reason like that. On top of that he'd never been trailered before so he wouldn't have even known what that meant if he even could reason that way. Animals adjust fast and he won't be any different.

I give Daniel credit for showing us what it’s like on a farm. Animals are born there, some stay, others get processed. At least these three babies will grow up, and maybe help other farms grow.

Why do people with dogs not realize how much they affect other animals? Kane clearly was uneasy with these new dogs. He is in a new place, just road in a trailer for the first time, strangers are bringing him close to huge horses he has never seen before and dogs are running around him. And you wonder why he didn't want to move? The same thing happened in the video when Daniel brought home the donkeys and the alpacas, both times the dogs were running around spooking the new arrivals but no one thought to remove them from the area until they were settled in. The people know the dogs won't hurt them but the new animals don't know this.

Kane looks like he understands and is sad about leaving.

I'm not sad to see Kane move out. He has a new world to explore and new friends to meet. He will have a great time there and with everything new. Nice video again!

Yes. Didn’t know that donkey can be so cute! Unfortunately, in China, people are killing donkeys just for their skins 😭. According to the Chinese fake secret ingredients, donkey’s skin is a great source of making women more prettier! How crazy is that!!😭

Kane has been such a wonderfully ❤ sweet boy & enjoyable to see him act more like a puppy!! I can still remember when you'd all pick him up & cuddle him especially when Houston did! I think that Bo & Patsy will be so happy with all the sweet loving ❤ 💕 😍 that they'll be getting from everyone petting & loving on them especially kids that will be closer to their own size! They're so beautiful 😍 too! God's Blessings for them in their new homes!!!! I couldn't help but shed a few tears as he inched ever so slowly and stubbornly into the trailer!

You killed that meat!!! I grew up working on neighborhood farms & we always had 7 to 12 beef animals on our 54 acres, even though my Parents considered it more of a hobby. My Mother trained me to eat beef medium rare ( pink & warm center ), so when I see a good cut of steak well done, I think of shoe leather!!! lol

My mom liked here even more done than that. The best purchase I ever made was a meat thermometer. Like my mom I have trouble deciding when it's safely done. Now I just check & I know. I still cook it more done than a lot of people but nowhere near shoe leather. I know for sure my first steak on my my new grill was really good because my cats actually tried to steal pieces instead of waiting like they've been taught too. They loved the chicken that night too. Knowing Micah he'd have probably liked a side too but I forgot to cook anything beyond my t-bone & chicken. Considering how big it was I didn't need anything else. Hopefully they'll have those big t-bones on sale again. I have a local savings grocery & all last year they had t-bones on sale for $4.58. The double packs weren't very good. But the singles were big & thick. With the filet part as big as the other side. I'm going to have to break my grill out more this year.

I will always remember and miss Kane.

I love the way kids grow up in the country, Houston, and his red lips lol hands on with the animals showing his strength, like father like son! Love the characteristics of a donkey their sad eyes even when they are happy. It is worth it to watch these shows although it happened two years ago. God continues to bless Daniel, his family and his farm.

my dad's in the hospital and mom's home with the alzheimer's. 2 sister's ran off to florida. me with a job still have to run south to care for the farm, dad, and mom. hard now with disability and just started back to work. you are lucky you have a family and friends that care.

And here I thought one of my Doberman's were stubborn. Love how the lab brings his toy (a tree branch) to show Kane and everyone else. I always hated moving farm animals around. With a dog, you just say..."car ride" and they act like it's the best thing ever. Well most dogs. Those horses are absolutely beautiful. Horses are super smart too.

The dog with the sticks trying to help too....lol Theyll all settle in quickly..... We used to leave a horse trailer with feed inside in the horses yard for a couple weeks before we moved them..allowed them to not fear and they loaded really easy and fast.

I watched this story for the first time today. Sweet little Kane, just doesn’t know what to think about his new surroundings, Donkeys are such special beasts that that served the Holy Family, carried Our Lords Mother to Bethlehem. And bore Jesus as he entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Humble and faithful little donkey

people always say things like this to make themselves feel better, but the truth is people out in the farmlands aren't wandering around each others properties to visit animals they used to have. It just isn't done, and would be more than a little creepy and annoying if they did attempt to do it. Family is one thing, but these are business relationships, even if they are cordial. Sometimes you have to face reality, instead of hiding behind feel good sayings that simply aren't true in any way.

@@zarroth I grew up in the South on a farm, living like this. Homesteading is not a business, but a lifestyle. Your animals are pets. You name them, and love on them. Neighbors, and friends visit each other, have meals with each other, and help them when they need it. Of course you respect their property, just as they respect yours, but you do visit just because....It would not be unusual at all to stop by their house, and say, hey. How's 'Billy Bob' doing? Then they would invite you to come look at him, and discuss how they're doing. This is all reality. You experience birth, and you experience death. Yes, you cry over your animals sometime. Let there be a hardship of any kind, you don't have to ask for help. Friends, and neighbors are there to do what ever necessary to help out. Homesteading is not for everyone. It's a lot of hard work, but it's a good life for those who choose it.

All the meat box things just not in a fixed income budget most people I know live with. I don't have a separate freezer for storing any of it either.

Snider Family Exotics, in Sterling, OK. They have some cool animals there. A good amount of animals are native to Africa. Servile which is the 2nd fastest land animal. Zebra. Lemur's other monkey's, foxes, camels, gazelle. If they do the cabin and you spend the night in the open, amongst the animals. I would definitely do it. Cost for day visit....$10-Adults and $7-Children. Hope this was helpful.
