Only thing more important than a man's truck, a man's family. Admiration for that. You done right thing. Mad respect
6.0 Powerstrokes sound amazing, they did get a bad rap and rightfully so. It is still one of my favorite sounding diesels.
Doing exactly what dad's have to do. Sacrifice for family is honorable.
Thank God you didn't sell it to Whistlindiesel 😂😂😂 we all know how he treats his trucks and because it's red would make it even worse 😂😂😂
Family is more important than anything on this Earth. My wife was diagnosed with epilepsy when she went to college. No explanation how it came about nor does it run in her family. I started suffering seizures out of the blue. Mine has to do with my TBI while I was in the Navy. It’s controlled by medication now. You being a disabled veteran is one of the many reasons I watch the channel. I work with my son (turns 25 in June) and he’s a car guy and mechanic. We hope to get a shop built at the house so we can be “a/c mechanics” vice “shade tree” as the heat impacts me so much. Keep the family safe and the videos coming!

Thank you both for your service! I hope you both get things sorted! You're son Josh having a unexpected seizure is scary as a parent but I'm sure it's emotionally scarring to him and the sister I'm hopeful you and Your wife are getting support to My apologies on the grammar imperfections I'm self taught on a lot of things
I have never seen that truck so clean. It couldn't have had a better shine when it was new. Hammer has to be looking down with a large smile.
So good to hear your son is doing well now.

I'm glad your son is doing better now. Sometimes in life our choices and decisions are never easy. But..I'm sure both of you know what's best for y'all.
Most important, glad you son is doing well. I'm a dad too and I sympathize. Glad to see Hammer's truck going to good home. It looks like he meant a lot to your family. Rest easy
The nice thing about keeping the truck local is if you ever want to buy the truck back you know where it is.

Before my dad passed away I fixed up his boat and got it running. It took me a whole summer but I got him out on the water one last and that boat never looked that good in it's life. I sold it a year after he passed away. It was a nice boat but not quite what I wanted. It's in Alaska now with my cousin
Such a beautiful truck and such a good service it was used for
Family First. I salute you, mom and dad.
Josh… I’m very sorry your family had to experience the situation with your son. I can only imagine what type of stress you and the wife went through. Prayers that you all have fully recovered from the situation 🙏🏻🙏🏻
So sorry for what happened to your son but glad he made it out and is ok now. Sad to see the 6.0 go but knowing that it will be used and appreciated close by is a good feeling
My condolences. I lost my father then my father in law within months in between. I hope you keep fighting when life hit you hard n keep your head up.

Interesting how the passing of time and other issues can change priorities. And, as you said, can’t take it with you. As I always say, “It’s all gonna burn in the end.” Ignore the haters. They have no clue what life is really about. Glad your son is okay, thanks for your service and God bless you and your family.

I recognized the truck the first time I saw it on your channel from watching a bunch of Powerstroke videos, I’m glad my suspicions were confirmed! Best of luck to you bud!
I hope your little man is getting his epileptic issues figured out its so scary my two oldest sons also have seizures with no medical reasons found we are happily celebrating 4 years seizure free with our oldest and almost 2 years with our second boy 8 years into this adventure and every day is a blessing after the first big scary one keep up with the great content and thank you for your service
Glad your son is okay. My niece spent many weeks at Mott Children's Hospital at U of M. We're about 25 minutes south of Ann Arbor. Prayers from down state 🙏
Sorry to hear about your son was having health issues but hopefully he gets better soon sad to see the Supper duty go but it will be for a good cause to help pay for medical bills
You did the right thing it's worse to let the truck sit there and not get used at least to go down the road, I'm glad your some is healthy that's very scary to see and I'm glad everything is good. Hope everything stays well
My niece used to have seizures when she was younger. For whatever reason she out grew them. That is a cool truck and I get the sentimental value you are doing the right thing letting it go.
Out of all my hobbies and interests, you are probably my favorite KZread creator. You keep it clean, interesting, and to the point. I also like that our faith and view of the world lineup pretty closely. Keep doing your thing and God bless you.
Makes me happy to hear your son is doing better. A true role model for your beautiful family.
I've recently delt with out of network insurance claims. A few things to keep in mind , if it's an emergency they can't claim it's out of network, also if the care or a procedure he needs isn't offered by a in network provider than the insurance must cover a out of network provider that does. Don't forget about the law recently passed in 2022 called the no Surprise act, you may want to look into that. Hope this helps
Wow! In Nov 2002 I bought my LB7 brand new, extended cab long bed LS for 36k. It's still running and planning on rebuilding the turbo this year.
I’m dad to hear about your son. Glad he’s ok and doing well. As far as the truck you and your wife made the decision together and it’s for the better, someone will get to enjoy it and make their memories in it
Thanks for sharing about your faith and family.
You’re a good man for doing this. But your a great father and this shows why me and many others watch your videos you’re an awesome guy a great person and someone everyone one of us wanna be friends with you. As a father myself of two kids I am very very happy for you that your son‘s OK.B

Great upload Josh! Family is everything.
At the end of the day like you said, its just a truck. You did the right thing. Love the sound of those damn 6.0s though haha.
Check your hpop lines they have “quick connects” that leak replace them with solid ones not a 6.0 owner I’ve just worked on them
My wife and I have three kids- what a scary experience that must have been... Taking care of family is what's most important. I hope your son goes on to have a happy healthy life 🙂
I recently sold a very babied bronco that bought in 93, sold to my father-in-law in 2001, and got back in 2017 after he passed. I got it back to road-worthy status and drove it daily for the last 5-6 years. It was a bit emotional, but I was glad that it left the state and I never saw it again. It would break my heart if it was mistreated. I also didn't want the guy coming back for little things like an oil leak. It was a 33 year old truck, it was going to have a few issues. I miss it a little, but I got another toy to replace it (and I don't have to constantly fix stuff). It's just stuff, always take care of the family first.
Well. If your son has a seizure, he definitely has something wrong with him. I shall be praying for y’all. Stay strong 🤜🏻🤛🏻
You and your family rock, thank you for letting us be apart of your life
Haven’t been here in a long long time I remember when this truck first appeared and I seen this caption and got sad wow is it still beautiful
Family first! Its all for our children in the end, not a ford guy but that powerstroke is mean! Wish you and your family good health brotha! Keep up the good work and lifestyle!

If a channel or youtuber DESERVES to blow up Into a huge following, its definitely yours man, its not often you just find humility, and a genuine person thru the endless videos on youtube!
Sorry to hear about your son. Glad he is doing better. Definitely the truck prices are crazy now.
Omg, I feel for your lil man I had 6 seizures and they are so so scary. Had a CT scan and couldn’t find anything but there was something there. I finally had and MRI done and found 3 Cysts in my head as well. I did have many signs that something was wrong but I avoided it for a long time until I had my first seizure. Been recovering for 2 years. He has a fight ahead of him. Sending blessings.
I’ve been there my friend! Had to sell my late father’s truck last year. It made me feel guilty too but it doesn’t make sense to keep it if you don’t need it and watch it rot away … I have to believe he would understand and want what is best for you and family .
Thank the Lord that your Son and Family are all doing good. May God bless you all and keep you safe and in good health. It's really tough letting go of things with deep sentimental ties, it's great that your Buddy bought it. That truck needs to be driven and it's good to hear that it will also stay near. It sure looks badass all cleaned up shiney and the wheels and tires look great on it! Sweet ride! 💪 I'm guessing that all the additional hard work you and your Wife put into that truck really made your Father-in-Law proud of you both.
so sad to hear about your lil man! i went thru one at like 32 and have been hearing of more and more people having them. i hope it was just a one time deal for you guys too
My son had seizures just like yours, same exact thing it’s caused by a cyst on his brain.Hes had a few seizures at an early age but as he got older it’s gotten a lot better. He hasn’t had be now in a long time and he’s 15.Hes running back for the HS football team and pitcher for the baseball team,so it hasn’t affected him at all.I just wanted to let you know because I was so worried we all were just like I’m sure you have been and what the long term could look like.
Very happy to hear your son is good,as well as you guys
Keep your priorities your priorities 👍🏼👍🏼 praying for you guys Josh!
Truck looks good with the new wheel and tire setup. Thing is clean for an old Ford
Sorry to see it go. But that's great news about your son. I also had an arachnoid cyst in my skull. Never had any problems with it until I turned 41. ( Never knew that I had it). Wound up having a programmable shunt and catheter put in my skull. All better since then, he'll be fine and completely normal
Thank God your son is well and recovering, keep making good and informative videos

Tough choice.... but you and Mrs Truckmaster know what you need and you know what you have to do to best fit the needs of your family. I am sure Hammer is in full agreement and probably saying he is surprised you kept it as long as you did even as proud as he is that it has meant as much as it has to you. I also believe that Hammer would have had it sold right away to take care of his grandson... Grandpa's are like that. Also glad to hear your son is doing great 👍. You are a good man Truckmaster. Now back to the Sunkist truck. It's going to look great next to the WIFEMAX. All the best to Mrs Truckmaster hopefully she will make a few guest appearances. She is a shining star and you should forever be grateful. As always looking forward to seeing what's next. Bravo Zulu Truckmaster....

When my daughter was born I sold my 2017 L5P midnight edition to pay the bills so I know first hand what it's like to sacrifice for your family. Much respect brother. And thank God your boy is ok.
Oil leak common problems are front cover, bed plate, hpop cover, oil cooler housing
Family first. Like you said, you can't take any of these things with you. I know Big Red will have a good home, and it sounds like it'll still be around to see
You have to take care of family first everything else is secondary hope you’re son is doing well prayers to you and yours 🙏
Sometimes it’s best to let things go even if they have sentimental value. My dad passed away in 2017 and I bought his 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited from his estate. I rode it at first but slowly lost interest and I rode it less than 500 miles in the last 1.5 years I owned it. I knew my dad wouldn’t have wanted it to just sit there for sentimental reasons. So I ended up selling it two years ago.
I hope he got HAMMER tags for it 😎👍
Dang!!!!! I’m sorry I have epilepsy and I understand where you’re coming from bud
I'm glad to hear little man is doing good God had his hands on his body that day for sure, that would be scary but God is always watching out for us!
That’s rough but at least it’s gonna be used now instead of collecting dust

May God Bless and watch over your family!
I inherited a little S10 4x4 that sat in storage for many years. Once I started driving it she developed a few leaks. I figure we’re both a little old and leaky so I don’t worry about it. 😂
I have a family friend that has a son whom has seizures from a genetic issue he was born with. His has no cure yet
Josh last year around June 18th I had a stroke while I was sleeping on my left side I fully recovered from it 4 months later I’ll be honest it sucked putting shirts on and off having to put my left arm in first my Dr was happy I got all my strength back but for me what sucks is my memory recall got effected a bit I was 32 at the time now 33 what I have done to get my memory recall a bit closer to where it was is I have been doing memory recall drills so try some of those drills in math spelling and writing to help your son keep his memory recall tuned up it’s helped me
Figuring in inflation, 36,000 in 2005 vs now is about 59,000.. diesel pickups have always been expensive.
Taking care of a your family is the right thing. Almost 5 years I took care of my mother at home. I gave up a lot of things to see that she was cared for. I spent a lot of money doing that and I'd do it again. After she passed away I was reluctant to let go of her things. Someone told me let it go and let it start a new life with someone else. My mother when I was about the age of your son sacrificed a lot to see that I got the medical care I needed. I'll never forget that.
You should see what diesel trucks are going for in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, where I live.
Thank God Your Son is doing well 🙏 God bless Him 🙏
Valve covers gaskets and bed plates
Your family is the most important thing vehicles can be replaced you and your wife made the right decision and knowing that it went to someone who would use it and not let it sit makes it better

I believe in getting rid of a hobby from a dead loved one. If that's what they enjoyed, get it to someone that will continue to enjoy it.
What topside creeper do you have and would you recommend it?
My 06 lbz lt3 sunroof and DVD dually was custom ordered from the dealer with an ARE cap was 56k
Good video, glad your son is well… with you criticizing that 6.0, I feel like they are more reliable than most duramax. Lml breaking cranks and burning pistons, not to mention head gaskets, same for lmm and lbz. Not much work to make a 6.0 pretty dang strong 💪🏻
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The most important things in this life matter even more in the eternal life beyond this. You made a tough choice but a good choice and I am sure the good Lord appreciates your intention. May he bless you & family.
I think selling makes sense and it would have been a overdue decision because sitting isn’t healthy for Diesel
I'm glad your son's OK, Josh. It'll take some getting used to with The power stroke being gone. But at least it's going to a good home to somebody that will appreciate it I wish you. Your wife and your kids the best
I’m sure FIL would have loved to see one of the grandkids get it, but it’s better that it’s being used and not sitting. Maybe down the road you could buy it back for one of your kids if they wanted it.
My 05 lly had a sticker price if 60,000 cad or 43,000 usd after all the add ons inherited it from my dad after he passed
Haven't seen the video but it breaks my heart 😢

It’s a six o it’s going too leak 😂😂
High pressure oil system was a notorius leak on my old 6.0
I inherited my grandmas car last month I barely drive it I'm keeping the miles down on it
Best looking and sounding truck in the fleet by far. It's funny though wouldn't want to bulletproof a 6.0 but tears duramaxes down all the time. Oh well it was a beautiful rig! I understand if you needed to sell for your son's medical bills. I've owned two 6.0s with basically no issues

Damn i would have love to have that truck but i won't be moving to michigan til next year
Your Father in law was a pretty cool guy judging by the truck!
Other than the exhaust that’s a sweet truck.
a 2024 f250 starts at like around 45 lol. and that's for the base package
You can’t even get “plain Jane” now days. No such thing as manual windows anymore. Can you still get manual transfer case, and rubber floor mats?
Only power stroke I like lol , awesome videos
