Great film, great story, and I love the characters. I've read some of the other comments below, like "wouldn't happen in real life", "Emma would have found someone else", "no one died" and so on. First, no one needs to die -- ever -- to make us care deeply about people or to make a story relatable, especially not in a story about same-gender love. Also: each story is meant to tell us JUST ONE STORY of many, many stories in the universe, to let us know the possibilities of the human heart and to show us what Love may, though not always, accomplish. The human heart has endless capacity for both Good, and sadly, its opposite, which is why films like this are so important. It's tales like this one that can give all of us Hope that no matter our age, gender, or orientation, our lives are an open book, with possibilities for Love and Affirmation just around the corner. This "little" 30-minute film is SO important in that regard -- thank you, thank you, thank you, for caring enough to provide it for us. Not everyone will dare to kiss a stranger, because many slaps (or worse) will indeed ensue, but for persons crazy or romantic enough to do so one fine day, your life may change forever. Milton Boyd

YES YES YES, thank you for this. I totally agree with you on everything you said, there are probably a thousand different stories of how we fall in love. When I was 15 years old, I started watching every lesbian youtube video I could find. I realized back then that we need this kind of content to show the world how same-gender love is and most importantly to show the world that it's OKAY for two women to fall in love with each other. I love how the mom is so proud and supportive

This is an absolutely gorgeous short film, I really love it probably because while certain elements seem implausible/fantastical, the exploration of the discontent/frustration/loneliness in their relationship caused by Emma's workaholic oblivious state is very convincing/realistic. While many people are uber judgemental of Alex getting wasted and bringing another girl home, I can understand & sympathize with her behavior... But I am not saying it's acceptable, only that I can relate. Frankly both Alex & Emma acted poorly; Emma allowed herself to become so immersed in work she became emotionally & physically absent from their relationship... and forgetting about their anniversary AND yet still staying at work? That's seriously shitty behavior if you love someone. Alex acted poorly because instead of communicating her frustration & heartache she kept silent until imploding. She was hurting and so subconsciously she wanted to lash out at Emma and cause her to hurt as well. The only detail that seems lacking; why did Alex's friend borrow her camera & whatever came of it? Inquiring minds want to know! Cute movie querida, very well done & thanks for not killing off anyone! 😘😘😘❤ Oh and I think Alex is super svelte.

Can someone explain the first scene with the mom in a park and another scene with a dad buying icecream? are they supposed to be our protagonists as kids? Life can be fantastical - both ways, positive, negative. But this is important, there is a positive message in the "implausible" way they meet and go for it. I think I can imagine the missing parts (why some male friend would like to borrow a camera etc.) The background sounds gives me the impression of a city-environment which is a bit foreign to me.

I'm so co fused because the film is in Spanish and most of the comments are in English and so is the title of the video ;-;

Plus what if Emma never got over her? They were both deeply in love with each other and Emma was so heartbroken when she saw what Alex had done. It takes some people YEARS to get over there ex boyfriend or girlfriend. I really loved this ending because Emma knew and felt that Alex was speaking the truth. And they both knew they missed each other so much and probably thought they wouldn’t find someone better. I think this film is adorable and goes along great with the Ancient Chinese Proverb💝

This was too cute; honestly I kept wondering if the mom knew about her daughter or if she knew she was gay-- and when I found out the mom was totally chill that became so important to me since in a lot of gay short films the mom is always portrayed as someone who wouldn't accept their kid-- but because this short film didn't do that, it gave so much importance in the fact that it is furthering and contributing to the normalization of same-sex relationships :'))
