Paul McCartney was one of the Beatles, and MJ has said publically that the Beatles were one of the groups he was influenced by (along with Elvis; MJ was married to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie for two years, as well,) Paul McCartney is now 80 and still performing to sold-out audiences all over the world. Check out McCarney's songs "Maybe I'm Amazed", "Live and Let DIe", "Band on the Run", or "Jet". These are my favorite songs he recorded after the Beatles broke up. To have these two world-famous, genius, icons performing together is awesome.

He also frequently referred to himself in interviews I personally saw that he considered himself "theBlack Elvis", and if you are around my age (63) and saw them both,MJ from a child, you can clearly see that MJ used Elvis dance moves and persona. Before you start calling BS, make sure the person you are accusing hasn't witnessed what they areprofessing.

Paul wrote Girlfriend for MJ and it appears on Off The Wall and Paul appears on MJ's first single off of Thriller, The Girl is Mine, but had nothing to do with its writing.
