The old recruit is almost gone from the game and the new season of Y9S2 will bring in the new 'reworked' recruits that splits this operator in 2. Striker in the attacker and Sentry on the defence with their own unique load outs of weapons. Both sides will be able to do what recruits did before which is bring 2 secondary gadgets. However, before they were restricted in the use of which combination of 2 secondary gadgets they could bring. For instance in the new season Striker will be able to solo open an electrified wall and Sentry being able to bring impacts and a C4 which prior to Y9S2 was not possible. This new season also limits players to bringing only one recruit of each class to every round meaning that you can no longer stack a team full of recruits and recruit rush. Other changes have been made to other parts of the game as well I just felt they weren't important enough to cover in this video alone.
