Well my dad didn't film the making process. I'm not sure if he made any plans for it, probably he did, as he always does before his builds. Il ask him about them. If in the end he will have the plans, il make them digital and publish them.

Hi. I spoke with my dad, he says he did not make any plans. I could give it a try to convince him to make the plans, but i doubt he's going to. He's working on wood splitting machines right now, so everything around this saw is already aside.

Tas ir atkarībā no tā kā tu zāģe. Protams, lentzāģi no priekšas stumsi, abus kātus noraus. Neviens jau neliek vilkt viņu no aizmugues, velc no sāna :D

Good looking electric swing mill you've built there. What is the power rating on the motor? (kW or horsepower). As for the circular saw blade producing more sawdust than a bandsaw mill, I feel it comes out even in the end. Since the boards from a bandsaw mill tend to be way, you end up producing as much in shavings in planing/thicknessing a board to a uniform dimension. What is the maximum cut size with your blade and what is the largest size log you could mill?

Hello. Im sun of Gatis Liepiņš (Gatis created this saw). If im right, the maximum size we have tried to cut was 240mm. And thank you for your comment about the sawdust, we really havent tought of it. When il get back home, il get more precisive information from my dad about the power rating abd the maximum cut size.

You need a 15 HP at 2800 rpm if you want to produce a lot . SO a 10 HP at 2800 rpm is good for you

Hi! Sorry for not responding that long. It was constructed from stratch, it wasnt made from a kit or anything. I am still trying to encourage my dad to start his own web page to show all his creations and drawings.
