Saw Blades & Router Bits Sharpening Jig
After several months of use, all of my table saw blades need to be sharpened, so I've thought about making a jig to sharpen them at home.

Very nice! How many times do you think a blade could be sharpened before all the carbide is gone, or the teeth get too small?

This video is worth the storage space in youtube! I also like how the video was made by showing first how the finished product works followed by how it's made coz you already know what finished product you are expecting. Rather than blindly watching a tutorial then realised the finished product is not worth your time. Your video deserves to be on the internet!

Wow, one talented man...gives a whole meaning to the idea of a woodsman's wood shop.....super video!
It’s amazing to see that there is a big community of such smart talented and extremely cheap woodworkers!
Well sir I think this should be put in the Library of Congress! I was just drooling over the beautiful jig ! , and I think you are a man's man in carpentry! Gracias senor from Texas.
Very cool. That will definitely help with sharpening various blades.
What a great jig/base. I've seen others on KZread but the one thing you did was make it adjustable for various types of blades. The router bit attachment was amazing as well. I'll get a copy as soon as possible! Thanks for share!
one of the best jigs I have seen to sharpen blades....
I am an old carpenter and have seen many gigs, this is without doubt the best to do the job as correct as required and within a tight budget.
There is nothing more satisfying to me than designing a jig or project in 3D on a CAD program, then taking it apart, making cut sheets, then spending a day in the workshop making it. Awesome job on this jig and the rest of your homemade shop tools. I subscribed to Shop Notes for a long time. They're all into homemade tools and jigs.

Amazing work, this obviously took a lot of time and effort to design. Well done!
Excellent design and craftsmanship. Thank you.
You're a genius craftsman! Your ideas are awesome - get them patented. Way to go!
Everything he has is brilliantly made with wood. The talent out there just amazes me .
This DEFINITELY has to be one of the BEST KZread videos & COOLEST jigs that i have EVER SEEN! If made from different materials other then wood i probably wouldn't have ever guessed it was a DIY! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!
I love looking at the innovations on KZread, you sir, are very innovative, loved the video!

Dude, this is genius! Well done
Brilliant, that's just what I was looking for, great jig and very clear explanation! Bravo! :-)
That is a thing of beauty. I used to sharpen saws when I was a teenager but all I did back then was steel, not carbide. I had virtually the same setup by Belsaw on a much larger scale where I could do up to about 36 inch saw blades. The diamond wheels sure make this look easy. If you made an attachment to put the blade 90 degrees to the wheel, you could make sure that the blade is true, i.e., the teeth are the same height so that they all cut equally. But just sharpening them the way that you demonstrated really improved the cut. Great job!

Sorry, for my bad english! Your Bladesaw-Sharper is very professional. Cool, artisan good. But it is also much easier. I use a wooden cube of 15 x 15cm. I put the saw blade horizontally on it. As a grinding wheel I use a diamond stone Disc. I turn the saw blade tooth to tooth to the cutting Disc. That happens slowly and carefully. The result is similar to your device, after that, the saw cuts Bongossi again perfectly.
Maestro of precision ! Nice work.
