heard these guys in the 70's and still continue. Love this song. This music ain't for the cookie cutter mass produce liking folks out there. No super bowl gigs for Savoy Brown....they are the real deal.

I consider myself to be in an exclusive club of Savoy Brown fans. Such an awesome group. The more I delve into their music IM FAMILIAR WITH--keep finding there is much more music from them than I was ever aware of. I'm ONE of the Special few! My first introduction was Street Corner Talkin' album. Love this band.

So sorry to read that guitarist Kim Simmonds, who was a great influence on my own guitar playing for over 50 years, has passed away just about 9 days ago on the 13th of this month just almost a week after his 75th birthday which was on the 5th. RIP Kim Simmonds ..5th December 1947 - 13th December 2022...thank you Kim Simmonds for all the great Blues/Blues Rock music ypu provided thru out my life and lead guitar lessons I got listening to you on Savoy Brown records over and over to learn how to play lead guitar in the 60s in my early teens and helped me learn the basics of the pentatonic scales as a young guitarist growing up in the 60s and influenced my own playing snd understanding of the fretboard for decades affter...RIP Guitar Maestro Kim Simmonds...

I saw them in 1972 with lang John Baldry and Fleetwood Mac in Elgin Illinois while on leave from a 14 month "I got drafted" inspired vacation in Asia..unbelievable concert and show..just saw Kim Simmonds with the his latest incarnation of Savoy Brown at the Aggie Theater in Fort Collins Colorado just about 18 months ago or so. And that was a great intimate small/medium sized venue concert experience to enjoy a Savoy Brown/Kim Simmonds concert/show..

Kim Simmons and Lonesome Dave... what a pair bluesmen from England. Dave went on to Foghat, as you may remember. I caught Kim at an Air Force Base show in 1977, if I remember correctly. The group played on a flat bed trailer and we were all sitting on the ground in the dark. Great performance, it seemed as though I was the only one who knew the songs as most of my contemporaries weren't into blues at the time. I listened to the Bluesbreakers and of course, Chickenshack; later known as Peter Green's version of Fleetwood Mac. FOR SALE and HELLBOUND TRAIN are a bit bluesier than St Corner Talking... gotta love the artwork on that cover too!

great but lacking the immediacy of the temptations version, bought this back in 1971 and got kim simmonds to sign it for me in 'dallas, texas. i feel sorry for those that live in muleshoe, hard to get autographs there.

I don't agree. The Temptations were the best. It's a nice cover but no Temptations.
