Not a lost art in Mexico at all. It's very much alive and well. You find them by the thousands all over the country. Every time I go I take several of my shoes for an awesome shine... For less than two dollars!

I love these because I would sit there with my grandfather while he cleaned shoes from boots to golf shoes. One thing I noticed is that you ALWAYS have nice shoes on while you’re cleaning haha

There's a storefront. You can Google Map it. I assume it's something that people walk in for as it was in the olden days. And, truthfully, it's probably best not to make your business _too_ accessible to subscribers. It'd cause more trouble than it's worth I think. So, it seems perfectly reasonable and even a wise choice to me.
