Legend, I've honestly been loving your Saving Disaster videos. I know they're relatively new and something you've been experimenting with, but I believe it's going well. It's really cool seeing you try to save people's games, seeing how you get out of legitimately difficult situations, etc. Keep it up, don't listen to the relatively few naysayers, and trust the majority of us that enjoy your videos. :)

Pardon if this has discussed before but I'd just like to say that if you're getting a lot of submissions for campaigns that are just interesting situations and not on the brink of defeat maybe you could hold on to them and later on make some videos about them. I like this series a lot but it shouldn't stop you from considering other possibilities. At this point I believe your core audience will watch whatever seems interesting and is fun for you to do so try to do the things you enjoy doing the most and I believe the views and whatnot will follow. But thats just my 2 cents anyway, loving the series cheers!

Legend, absolute respect for you about what you've talked about in the beginning of this vid. Firstly for how honest and humble you are in talking through everything, and also for calling out negative behaviour in others and outlining clearly the kinds of things you don't want to see. I'm new to your channel, and as such don't know how you were in the past. I likely would have bailed out on earlier stuff from the sound of the commenters alone, but that doesn't matter in regard to your present work. I've really been enjoying this content and look forward to seeing more.

I have been watching you for a bit but this “saving your disaster” theme you started has got me so sucked into your channel. I am constantly checking KZread to see if you uploaded a new video. I even re-downloaded medieval total war 2 and fell in love with it again. Great content and keep it up!

I think I am one of those few who watch all the way through because I just love his way of progression through a campaign and the reactions to surprise attacks and whatnot.

To be fair my favorite part of these videos is the debate you do trying to figure out if its faked or not. Really entertaining to see you use your experience to drill into each situation

I watch most of your videos and I am amazed at how good you play Total War, I am a fan as well but so far I did not had any problems with any Campaign. But I enjoy watching how you basically save unsaveable campaigns. I hope you will continue doing it and do not care most about these 'troubled' people. Honestly legend, this has been one of your best series. Even if they’re potentially fake, I’d watch a video on trying to save the wre if there’s a chance you could lose! Sounds interesting for sure

1:35 Nuh uh legend, I don't skip around! Except when I am pressed for time in my current school semester :). But I do try and see most of your vids anyway. But I do tend to watch at at least 1.5x speed, because I can still follow at that speed without not hearing anything clearly or seeing actions.

I just love the usual total war battle a.i. The general is under attack and the entire army just sits there and watches.

People are too cynical. Obviously some people will fake them, throw out the obvious ones. But ones that seem to be legitimate disasters and are challenging go for it. Your community will love it, the only people who post this is fake blah blah are kids who think they are smarter than others. No one cares if it's possible it might be faked. Just as long as it seems like it could be a legitimate disaster and it a challenge we'll love it.

I just started watching your stuff but honestly I don't care if its fake or real disasters. You do a sick job love watching you crush these. I just hope one day we can see you lose so we know you are human.

This series is nice because you are back on Total War games

You're a cool guy, honest and willing to accept mistakes, it's a shame so many people don't see that and instead thing badly of you, I struggle to find anything worth disliking you as a person for (though I only really know you through KZread). What I like about your videos is the strategy that you employ, I don't mind so much what the game is, it's just interesting seeing how you make use of certain scenarios and work towards a positive outcome however that may be. That being said I do think it's important to keep certain series' like this Saving Your Disaster ones as their own things, otherwise everything just becomes a mess, perhaps you could make a "Take back the capital" or "Deafeat a faction" series where you do otherwise, and maybe you could even do a cheated series, as long as it's strategy I'll be interested.

Man now I am really curious about thoes Attila campaigns

For the campaigns that people are sending, you can named them something like "Interesting scenarios campaign" instead of "Saving your disasters". More ideas to spice up this great channel

I feel like the opening scenario is a how-to of the "Why are the Moors in Crimea?" campaign.

The Medieval disaster videos are by far the best. Absolutely love them.

Yeah, that's probably a development oversight. Likely, they forgot to make the spy's action in opening the gates specific to their own faction, and instead triggered it for any attack on the city.

I would say someone new to Attila who doesn’t know what their doing could easily be overwhelmed as the WRE in the first twenty turns I had it happen to me when I played them the first time.

Addendum: I know it’s been four years since this was posted I just wanted to add my thoughts on the WRE Attila campaign you start off with massive public order problems a shitty economy your army’s are spread out all over the place and some of them specifically in Gaul are at half strength.

how do you fight the enemy armies without waking them up like that? killing units ten feet away from idle units

i never played medieval 2. why does the AI refuse to attack during a siege or battle sometimes?

Legend you should also try to do a series (even a short One) where people send you "staged disasters/scenarios" i mean i am sure that many people (me included ) would pour lot's of time in creating a cool maybe historical scenario

Kudos to the heroic peasant regiment at 1:29:00 who received the full charge of the armenian cavalry, saw 70 soldiers being obliterated and kept fighting to the last man. Kinda miss the peasant campaign after that.

Awesome video as always, i'm loving the series (as far as its a M2TW video at least :p). One question though, do you plan on making another series of this game (Medieval 2 total war)? No challenges just having fun.

If u have merchant guilds u get better merchants. A good merchant can make between 500-800 gold but he needs a very valuable resource like gold amber or silk

Lookk Legend, we don't care 2 shit if the campaign is fake or deliberate sabotaged as long as YOU made it fun to watch. I think interesting scenarios that are deliberate to make it as fun/hard/challenging should also hold weight.

I love this vids and planning to pick up some more TW games as Medieval and warhammer are the only ones I played. But the way you play teaches quite a bit about how to play efficiently and win. But after your constant complaining about atila I won't even bother with it. Good vid Legend
