I went to a Jewish community center on the first day of the banner to drop off my sister. I was aiming for Ozzy. I did one multi-roll in the parking lot. I got everyone on the banner (Tawara, Serenity, Lancelot, and Nitocris) + Arjuna, Darius (who I have been rolling for for ages in the FP gacha), and Hassan 100 EXCEPT Ozzy I guess he's still salty over Moses.

In Fate Lore, he is Ramses II. Biblically and historically, leaning more Thutmose II or Neferhotep probably. The Bible only mentions that there were places in Egypt named after Ramses, so it doesn't say what the Pharaoh's name actually was. Neferhotep as Pharaoh over the Exodus is because of the facts that he had no son, and Egyptian records have this statement: Neferhotep I presided over Egypt during an era of profound chaos, described in the Ipuwer Papyrus: “Plague stalks through the land and blood is everywhere. . . . I know that all to well. Twice I did three single rolls on two separate summon events. On the first event, I got three 3 star ce's. While on the second event, I got two 4 star servants, Lancer Vlad the III; and Heracles, and the events 5 star ce.

One thing I think it would better the rolling experience is changing the pity system. I believe that DW should give us one USO every time we get a 5-star servant, regardless of the number of NPs. That would mean that every 10 5-starts we would be able to aquire a servant for free. I think it would make rolling a little more bearable. What do you guys think?

The current pity system is basically a joke. It already takes some crazy whaling to get a 5★ Servant to NP 5, and then to get one of those same Servants 10 more times is madness. Anyone who can afford that can probably afford any Servant they want already, no need for the USOs. Something should definitely be changed. I always thought you should be able to burn any 5★ Servant for an USO, similar to how you can burn 4★ Servants for a Rare Prism. That would make them a little more attainable, and help you out if you keep rolling the wrong 5★ Servant. I like your idea though, because you collect them passively without giving anything up (other than your tickets and Saint Quartz). It would be a much more generous system.

Same here , but i failed on this banner , i really waned Nito and rolled for her - Got Lancelot and Ozy with the frist 60 SQ , but i did not get Nito and my damn roommate with 30 SQ and 5 tickets and 3 SQ got Lancelot NP4 and Nito NP2 and he wanned Ozy - desire sensors are real

Well getting a 4* servant with 60sq is good , on my previous account i have a streak of 300 SQ with out a 5 or a 4 star servant , then on the 11th multi i got stheno , this was the moment i rerolled a new account and it`s a lot better now .

Your analysis and comparisons are "Solid"! And my experience on this game adds credibility to the "single-pull" strategy. I collected 120 quarts and used 10 summons. I got "nothing useful!". I tried "single pulls" using only 56 quartz in total (pulling every time I earned 3 quartz) and I got: 5 star Altruia Pendragon (Saber) 4 star Emiya (Assassin) 4 star Fionn (Lancer) 4 star Altruia Pendragon - Alter (Lancer) and several very useful 4 and 5 star CE's (including Ideal Holy King and the Black Grail) Glad I watched your video when I was starting the Game! Thanks!

This video and the others like it are well made and entertaining so thanks for your hard work. This banner has been great for me, I’ve pulled NP2 Lancelot a second Sanzou and Ozymandias. So now my priorities shift to the 2nd summer banner and Ruler Martha and after that I’m saving for a while!

Kapiletti I used 200 quartz I’d been saving for this banner along with 10 tickets. I still have 181 quartz and 16 tickets. I’ve been extremely lucky as of late and I’ve gotten the servants I’ve wanted for the most part. Now I’m just playing the waiting game while I save quartz and tickets for the Martha banner. After that I’m good till winter.

I did 5 multi-rolls on the current banner. I got 6 copies of Origin Bullet, 1 Martha (spooky!) and 3 copies of Saber Lancelot. Hope that helps your data!

what if you pull 1 summon for each day, without spending the whole sq on the same day, that way you can earn more sq every time you log in+ a summon ticket. :)

I always go for 10 rolls. Not saying that 10 rolls are better than singles, but one thing proponents of single rolls overlook is that often you do want other stuff in the gacha. Whether it be event CEs or just stuff you haven't obtained (other servants, K-scope, etc), I doubt anyone is in a position where all they need/want is just that one thing they're pulling for. Hell even the crap three star CE is useful in the sense that it gives you something to level up your better CEs

Idk, i'm always roll everytime my sq reach 30. No mater what banner is going on

I mean, say what you want, but I rolled 37 tickets and got nothing but a 500 year Obsession and some covering fires. Rolled my first multi-roll and instantly got a Lancelot. I'm sticking with the multi's. They're the ones who gave me Ozy too.

Three days ago I used 47 tickets on the current banner, just to get one copy of Origin Bullet. My tickets number 10, 11, 12 and 44 were Tamamo Cat, Waver, Saber Lancelot and Orion. (I got my first two SSRs, yay!) Six ten pulls on JP didn't get me the Rate Up SR I wanted (Lancer Kiyo), but only one random gold (Penth, still good but w/e) Single pulls FOR LIFE.

I did a single roll the day Camelot came out, I got a servant, you wanna know what now, she’s my waifu, I love my spammable farmer Nitocris, and I did a ticket on fate/Accel order zero and I got my boy Kiri, I loved his character in fate zero and I love my star generating non spectacular Kiritsugu Emiya

You made this video and i started doing single pulls and i got a 5 star on my literal 4th single pull. Not only that, but it was a good one lmao.

Well, the 10 roll have a much lower chance of pulling the 3* CE which is good enough for me, you know normally it's not what you're aiming for

Got all my 5 stars from single rolls. I just started like 4 months ago and already got dantes, jalter, nightingale and np2 raikou

That explains why I've gotten more SR and SSR servants within few single rolls. 2 SSRs from singles and 1 from a multi. I think the choice is clear.

I normally just single roll now a days. F2p for a while, but I've noticed singles aren't all that bad. I've gotten a lot of things I was looking for on them. Just recently I got Nito, Saberlot, and another 4* within maybe 13 single pulls. Also during JAlter I used 470 Saint Quartz doing only multis and didn't get her. The moment I did a single though I got her. Hell Shuten came on a Yolo single. XD I'm trusting singles from now on until I can get back into being a dolphin. =3

As I always want to improve my CE holdings along with my 5* I always multi for the small but significant bonus. I have been very lucky on my multi's but have never pulled a 5* on a ticket. But does my multi vs ticket luck convince me single rolls are quite poor compared to multi no it does not as I know personal experience a horrible way to determine what works best. Thanks for this, so many peoples ideas on luck are still in the believe​ in magic stage.

I used this formula and got 3 Summer Banner SSR out of 4 (Tamamo, Nero and Salty Maid) , I still don't know if I got an asspull A++ Luck or just because of this formula.

Since this video I have been single rolling. And anecdotally, I have gotten every single card I wanted except for Quetz. And I’ve gotten more 4⭐️ ‘s than I usually do.

8/9 of my 5* servants were from singles, and they were within 20 tries each. The other I got from a multi was from my first multi.

And then there's me looking to NP5 Ishy when she comes out in December

I watched this video and my pal said it was unlikely to pool your 5 star with the first single. So I had 2 quartz and converted my fragments, threw a single and got gilgamesh 🥳

Reason is I love Bedivere and want to NP5 him, but am looking for the best way to go about it. Being that he is story locked it is going to be difficult. Just was wondering about your thoughts on summoning story locked servants. As always love your videos! :)

Alright, your question was more in depth than I actually intended to go, so I'll try organise what I researched (sorry I'm not Avan, but hopefully this'll help). First of all, story locked servants, as we know, can only be rolled by using a rate up banner WITH THAT SERVANT ON RATE UP (so Bedi is unavailable for the Camelot banner) or the story banner. I tried looking up whether or not all 3* servants can be summoned in the friend's points gatcha, and it turns out story locked servants are locked out completely here[1]. So now we go to the story banner discussion. They've given us the rates for each and every servant in the story banner (Summon Info in the bottom right of the Story Banner should show you) so we know the chance of pulling him in particular is 1.176%, which is almost the chance of a 5* servant. However, the first rate up banner for Bedivere is, unfortunately and strangely, the Paid Gatcha[2]. The rate up for 3* servants on a banner is 4%[3], split between the 4 3* servants on that banner who you can check out, is then 1%...worse than the Story Gatcha. In this case, Rate Up is actually and truly a lie, although you can only roll once of this banner anyway since it's the paid one. (However same with the next Bedi 'rate up' banner for Each Class pickup Summon, 4 3* saber servants again so 1% chance again). The first and only 'Rate Up' that's actually a Rate Up is the 'FGO THE STAGE Performance Commemoration Summon 07/14 (Fri) to 07/17 (Mon) 2017' Banner, which may or may not come out due to this being a banner celebrating an Autumn Performance of the Camelot story as a real life drama (surprisingly good and pretty amusing, I recommend a watch if you can find it). There are arguments for both sides whether we will get this banner or not, so I'll leave it be for now. (I say this is the only banner for Bedi to have a proper Rate Up, however there's also the banner when the Blu-ray and DVD of FGO THE STAGE Performance was released, which was later on so I'm not counting that as if the STAGE banner doesn't come, this almost definitely will not.) In the end, my conclusion is that if you're patient, you should probably wait until Next year's Summer Re-run banners, as that's when this THE STAGE banner may or may not come out, which will be your chance for the rate up Bedi if it does. However if you don't want to wait one whole year for something that may or may not come (I know I wouldn't, that'd make me go mad.), I do suggest rolling on the story banner as this is the highest rate you'll get for a long time, and maybe even the highest rate ever. My opinion is to only do this if you REALLY REALLY REALLY want NP5 Bedi though, as this is almost the same chance as going for NP5 on a 5*, which as we all know requires a combination of EX-Luck and mountains of SQ. In which case if you do go through with it, I do suggest multis, as there's the slight boost for 3* servants in the multi rolls, if that's any consolation. Sorry about the bad news, but I hope you get NP5 Bedi someday and I hope this helped with your inquiry. Edit: Alright I lie, realised I made some mistakes. I assumed that the 4% rate up for 3* servants was split, like when multiple 5*s appear rate up but it's not. We can go to the current Camelot 1 banner to see that both Serenity and Tawara have a 4% chance of being pulled from the gatcha. This means that the best chance for Bedi is likely to be the Each Class Pickup Summon 03/29 (Wed) to 04/05 (Wed) 13:59 for 2017 JP, so we can except it around a similar time 2019 for NA. I only do ×10 Summon when using Quartz. I'd rather be sure I get at least 1 gold card. Though hearing the theory behind single pulls is enlightening.

Is there a video about the deep and horrifically murky pool that is the 3 star pool? I did 10 multi rolls tring to get the rare and limited assassin pomeranian, and only managed to get one copy. 3 star rateup...how does it work?

I believe getting the best results comes with time, not luck. I got Jeanne on first try with 3 quartz, Atalante with 1 summon ticket, and Mordred with 2. I got Bride Nero with 1 summon ticket the next day. My strategy is to role around 11:30pm to 12:00pm. My best time to use is 11:50pm to 12:00pm ( This is where I got the four servants.) Oh and when Scáthach's banner came. I got her with 3 quartz at exactly 11:57 pm

Just one thing though, does this take into consideration that the guaranteed 4* or higher removes all the 3* possibilities and the 3* or higher guaranteed servant removes all ce's for their respective rolls? that has to put rolling a 5* servant for those two rolls at a higher percentage right?

I did consider that, but unfortunately we're almost positive that it does not boost the chances of rolling a 5★ at all. It only boosts your chances of rolling 3★ Servants and 4★ CEs. Although you will see more 4★ CEs, more 3★ Servants, and less 3★ CEs in the multirolls. That's the trade off though.

I'm not sure if I missed it, but does the x10 pull affect drop rates of 5 star servants, because with a guaranteed 3-star or above, isn't that slightly higher odds of a 5-star, even if ever so slightly?

Makes sense but iam still gonna stick to my multi rolls.

So how big was our sample size for the hypothesis? The difference in 5* CE chances seems Pretty significant to me. Let's say I want to go Deep on a banner with a 5* servant and maximize my chances on an on banner 5* CE then I should be pulling single pulls, according to the hypothesis.

The sample size was 447 multirolls (4470 summons in total). I didn't tally in a way that allowed me to calculate variance, but I'm doing that now for new summons moving forward so we can verify statistical significance with the new results.

I couldn’t count on ten rolls for a while but I didn’t sleep on tickets after I got jalter in three tickets, and Quetzalcoatl on YOLO ticket. For six months I got nothing on my ten rolls. However my luck seems to have shifted a bit since I did one ten roll on two separate banners and hit the servants I wanted in one try. Either way I boil it down to what a wise man once said. “Never tell me the odds”

Despite what you said I feel like all the single rolls I try always give me nothing but spell cards. And I have been doing the single rolls for a few days now. But it just feels like I have a chance to draw better servants from the multidrop then, I do from the single….so even if your numbers say otherwise. That being said, I still will take what you’re saying in consideration.

So, Basically, we only roll less than 10 times each time we are aiming for someone, and stop before reaching 10 in order to save SQ? What happens if we still don't get who we want?

For example in my case, i want Mordred from the summer banner. ONLY Mordred. What it's better for me? Singles or multis?

Your odds of pulling a 4☆ Servant is the same on each pull either way. If you do get it though, you have good odds of saving a little quartz by doing singles instead of multis. But you have better chances of getting more of the 4☆ limited time CEs in the process if you do multis. Either way, good luck!

I did a ten roll and got 3 Ozy's in it. Would the odds of that just be 7% x 7% x 7%?

I say if you want multiple servants from the banner, go for multi and hope for the best. When you want to get one or got the other(s) from the multi, go for single till you get em. Not me though, I'm just a devil-don't-care single summoner whenever I get the quartz. Got 3 4*s just from this current EN banner. ... F*cking Sieg. Can't actually complain at all though, got Pharaoh Failure and Chainsaw Sword as I went through Camelot. Good stuff.

I got Jalter in 12 single rolls, maybe is just that you are destined to have that servant. Or just luck

4* servant is more than enough for me..so single pull for more chance to save quartz whent i got 4* servants that i want..or even at least easier to np2+

Currently at 46 tickets and 281 SQ ready for summer. I’m hoping that I’ll have around 60 tickets and 350 SQ, and that the tickets will be enough to summon Archuria.

Honestly, I got Emiya Alter, Elisabeth Bathory, Nitocris, Waver, and Penth out of single rolls. Taking your advice was the best thing ever.

Usually, when deciding between single or multi rolls, the main factor I look at is if the 4* CEs in the banner are worth going for. Either way, I'll be gambling, so really, my main objective is to choose the gamble that gives me the best chance of a good outcome.

Received Ozzy and Arjuna back to back in a story multi roll.

I just started doing single summons and it's been pretty good so far, I got Gilgamesh Caster and Vlad lll Lancer. I just started playing a year and a half and i already have almost all the servants that I wanted

I do multis anyway for the better odds for gold cards. Singles for servants I sort of want, with the occasional multi, but for servants I really want, I'll go all out. That's my personal approach to roll. However, if you want to try and incorporate singles into the strategy, then doing singles on a banner such as the Scathach banner would be good. No rate up CEs means that the multi advantage for gold cards overall don't apply, and Scathach is a popular character, so chances are likely you'll blow as many SQ as it takes, giving you a decent chance at getting her, and as such, justifying the few extra SQ that you'll save at the end without having the regret of possibly missing out on CEs you could've gotten as guarantees from the multi.

??? If you take a look at his previous video, he mentions that multi rolls give you better odds for a gold card overall, whereas singles give you better odds for gold CEs of a certain rarity (though I forgot which rarity it was, either 4* or 5* CE). I think it was the latter.

Based on the data we've measured... Singles give you a better chance for 5★ CEs (by a little). Multirolls give you a better chance for 4★ CEs (by more). You'll get more gold CEs overall from Multis. Gold Servants are exactly the same in either case.

Yup, I usually save my quartz for events that have new limited time CEs so I can benefit from the multis.

What about if you get something good in the rest. I was just rolling some 10s and I got 2 5 star servants one after another. If it was singles I would have stopped after the first one

The premise of saving quartz centers around wanting only one of a very specific card.

I got 2 ozy on 30 quarts rolls after i got great success on leveling a servant. I think RNG really matter

Took the single roll gamble, got scathach during the 6M DL banner. Pretty gud if I do say so myself. But you were right about the garbage on the way as 12 quartz went to 4 lu bu's.

I am not surprised. I'd tried multi-rolls and gotten terrible results. However, all the SR and SSR I got so far are from tickets and single rolls.

14/15 my ssr I get from multi

i rarely do singles unless i want to even out my SQ like reducing from 33 to 30 and so on and so forth and i only do singles with tix, however 1 tix SSR is another matter entirely if the 5* is not what i wanted at all (IE Achilles in JP) and that actually put a damper on my mood to roll further LOL

I remember rolling 1 roll everytime didn't get anything other than CE and 3 star servants after I get Ishtar in 10 roll.

Odds of pulling any 5☆ Servant is 1% per pull. That's split up among all of the various 5☆ Servants, so the odds of getting one specific 5☆ Servant is about 0.02%. Rate up 5☆ Servants are a little better, usually around 0.7%.

This is probable since most of the 4 and 5 stars I got were mostly from the single pulls.

I do multis cause of the *3 star or above servant guaranteed, sometimes I single but since getting quarts is somewhat hard I try to save for multis for said guarantee

Damn Camelot banner must have been so good. Ozymandias best rider, Nitocris great farmer and Saberlot solid even before the Skadi system. Too bad I started playing this year lmao.

So is there a pity system where your 10th pull is a 4*star or something?

The odds of getting any SSR is the same on every pull. It's just the odds of getting your _first_ SSR that go down over time, because you can't get your _first_ SSR on a later pull if you already pulled it earlier.

I personally got Jalter and Musashi on my JP account from singles. And Tamamo-no-Mae on my NA account also from singles. I don't know, but I feel more comfortable when I do single rolls rather than multi.

I feel like rolling for the servants that want is like mission impossible. I think the odds of me getting the servant that I want is slim and can be really frustrating for me. Hopefully I don't go overboard

Fun Fact: Ozymandias have the same va as Dio from Jojos. Gray's Add has the same va as Jotaro from Jojos

I am just getting into this so, multi's are probably my best friend right now. I am only lvl 24 and steadily working my way through orleans at the moment. rolling on the merlin banner even if though I haven't hit merlin yet and really want him. I wont say no to all the good CE's and other good servants i am still pulling. I pulled both nitocris and nursery rhyme in the same multi roll.

In my personal experience I am Lv. 80 and I'm halfway through completing the fourth singularity (London) and in what I've been doing the card runs I have noticed that invoking cards individually gives me better results (or I don't know if it's a matter of luck) But. . . The thing is that all the 4 * and 5 * servants that I have, have come out in individual runs and not x10

I got illya and murasaki with summon tickets, And my sibling got medb with a summon ticket ... 😑😑 We have just started playing for like 2 weeks. --- I dont get it man

I've been doing single rolls since last year.. I already got 9 SSR up until now and a few SR's and I'm a free to play player.

Give me tips to how to make a right roll. Im spend to much of saint quarts and ticket lasr few months ago. And then Im so exhausted 😔😔😔
