This is not just a grooming video, it's a story about love, compassion and the power of second chances. And this is what we gave Charlie - a second chance. The dog was abandoned in a small mountain village. We rescued him and took him home. It doesn't matter if you are a dog or a cat lover, the stray animals deserve our help.
Charlie has been neglected and he certainly needed a grooming.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray cats is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. I don't think it was that Charlie was so proud of his ears, it's just that they're sensitive and he didn't want that buzzy thing all over them. I can't blame him. You, on the other hand, did a great job.
Aww, Charlie doesn't know, what is happening to him with that noisy trimmer. We don't know about experiences he made with humans before. But he loves and trusts you. 🐶💖

Wonderful animals
The problem is that it hurts! Imagine your hair in those old fashioned "brush" curlers, and someone is touching your head. It really hurts. I adopted two matted cats, and they were untouchable until they were forcefully shaved. But, that aside. My word what a beautiful boy! You did well. Thank you Desy and Stoyan!

What a great job with grooming this dog. You didn’t have all the extras that groomers have to help keep the dog in a standing position and make it easier on the groomer. Everything here was new to this dog and both dog and humans did a great job. I’m sure he’s much more comfortable with the matting away from around his legs too.

Where they live there isn't a groomer with professional tools for miles. They barely have a vet

You did a great job, it was Charlie's first grooming, he will get used to it. Maybe next time try a muzzle or a cone so he can't nip at you, definitely with time he will get used it, you both are so patient and showed him love and treats.

He was actually adopted few months ago, just 10 km away from us, so we can visit him sometimes. But we have a lots of videos of him that we haven't uploaded.
His fur was so matted! Such a sweet and handsome little guy. How could somebody be so cruel to neglect and abandon him like that?😢 thank you for paying attention to him and taking good care of him. I'm sure his next forever home will give him all the love and attention he could ever want 🙂
