Related to prefering glass over paper - I prefer vaping over combustion. More efficient, better gas mileage from your weed. When you're smoking, you're turning perfectly good THC into carcinogens. Another thought: with edibles, MAKE YOUR OWN. Those candy bars and gummies you get at the dispo are tasty, but in CO, they're restricted to 100mg THC, and they're stupid expensive. Get a syringe of distillate, get a box of brownie mix, and go to work in the kitchen, you'll save a pile of cash while making brownies that can send you to Andromeda!

don't even need distillate. if you grow yourself or know people who grow, ask for the trimmings. you don't normally want to smoke the trimmings, barely get you high and it's quite nasty. you can make edibles with those. won't really know how strong it is though

As a medical patient who needs smoke all day i will say even then you don't need to smoke a lot for it to help your medical needs. I smoke a tiny bit in the morning and throughout the day for my stomach issues but when i need to sleep at night or want to get high i actually smoke a lot only at night really she i still get really high. Moderation really is key

Great vid, already do most of this but there were a few I hadn’t thought of

After I have been dabbing for a while it seems like I'm finding better deals to stock up on concentrate. In theory it's more expensive but it's so crazy how fast the price can drop when you go from buying 1 gram to more compared to buying bud. It depends on the market for sure but it's definitely easier to transport and preserve quality on them compared to bud which can unintentionally lose quality very easily. I've seen price per G cut in half almost just going up to a 3.5 instead of a single quantity, and then for an ounce it's the same price of good flower. This is near the best case scenario but they don't want to always drop the price of flower even when you're buying a lot maybe it's because with flower you can see how much you're getting more easily and also the kind of person who buys an ounce of concentrate is usually trying to keep up with their consumption while a more casual user starting to smoke more might be more likely to buy an ounce of bud to last them a long time. Tho my tolerance is too high right now, I'm just lucky that it's still the most affordable route to buy concentrate. On the other hand, I see bud as more of a treat now. It's too hard for me to stock up on bud because I will go through it very quickly when I get it.

Tip two is so real, instead of getting an 1/8th for 35-40 at my local dispo, I can pay 40-45 and get a 1/4 of popcorn buds and it’s really decent flower. Also like you said sometimes those nugs are huge lol

Here in Canada can grow 4 personal and easy to get licensed for upto 25. Can't get much cheaper than that and I can grow some good ass herb outdoors

I picked up a Piece maker silicone pipe and it hits great and doesn’t get hot and cook the bud into a block of charcoal . Great video .

I’ve been saving so much money since it became federally legal here 🇨🇦 back in 2018 when I started growing my own . The only thing I buy at the dispensary is concentrates .

the best thing i ever did was get a crossing core e rig and load up on dabs. they last so much longer than when i would just get flower and carts and it’s so much better on my pockets

Having worked post harvest many times the smalls are just the top colas that didn't stay together. Many times we had entire strains that would be mostly smalls even though some of the buds were probably better than others so smalls aren't always a bad thing. I typically only buy smalls when buying bud but for the dispo I go to the vapes are honestly the cheapest thing imo.

I haven’t bought weed since 1994 (apart from on my visits to Amsterdam) when I started growing and breeding my own weed.

You read my mind on every one of these. Smaller bowls lol toke responsibly.

Trulieve ground flower is like shake you would find on a qp/hp/lb. I was thinking it would be like preroll leftovers. Like the quality shake you'd buy off your dealer back in the high school/early 20s days to make brownies and yall just crunched on the little stems because of just throwing it in the brownie mix lol

One thing that helped me with moderation was getting my job as a merchandiser where I have to be there at 4 am and I’m usually off by noon-4 pm on a busy day. It feels so good to make some money then smoke a nice .5 mini blunt or pre roll cone 🙌🏽💯

I recently began to save a lot of money on my weed……..I started working as a Budtender, I love it compared to what I used to do before, cleaning showers and bathrooms at a truck stop!

I like to mix and match layering like lasagna. A little of the good stuff, more of the cheap stuff, a little dab on top. 100% vape.

I have a couple friends who grow I maybe pay like $100 a month to reup my whole stash. Edibles, flower, concentrate, everything.

I have a strict budget and I always buy store brand. If I go for the premium shelf I would be dead broke. I go for the budget popcorn and it’s usually really good. People just hate. I always get two half ounces of a different strain or a half ounce and some concentrate

One thing ive noticed about medical is just because it has higher thc like flower thats above 26% doesnt mean you always get higher sometimes lower thc like 17% i feel more of a body high than i do off the more extreme bud.

I have to sesh every chance I get I smoke medically and if I don’t my mental illnesses really fuck with me

i recommend buying a qp, and restocking when you get down to a half oz. been doin this for years and have literally never ran out

im in a fairly good situation with work to life balance but something I do is Monday and Tuesday lots of work, wednesday I take a break and then work Thursday and Friday and by the time Saturday comes ive smoked once on wednesday or not at all for the week and I get extremely high on Saturday, then I do sober Sunday where I have to stop using all substances for the day so I get that super good sleep after getting baked as fuck on Saturday and im recharged for Monday.

Buying in bulk is nice but using the same stuff does get a bit dull after a bit, the way I do it is just hit up a few stores and just buy a few oz usually last me for a while, ill also grab wax at the same time, but usually I can get like 3oz of some pretty good or decent flower, that I like. And like 4-6 grams of concentrates its just BHO stuff but it taste good. And that cost me roughly $100. Which isn't bad for the month honestly.

Don't grow your own in Florida. Sat in county jail on a $500k bond last year and still smoked in county jail on a high risk floor before they dropped my classification and sent me out to a larger lower risk facility. I'm on probation and have a medical card, grin as I give my PO a sample. I only got caught because of having problems with my neighbor for years and the clown called 911 after shooting at me saying I ran across the street after being shot at then opened fire on him and I'm hiding inside a house. His bond is $575k Protip on that: do your research on "enhancements" (500/1000 feet from a school/rehab/daycare/pre-K/church) risk in your area. You might get lucky and that daycare on your enhanced charge doesn't have the necessary "licensed daycare" text on their sign as required by the law text

Living in a non 420 state (TX) I grow my own sometimes. I should do it a lot more but lazy, too many visitors/family at times. I learned dabbing and discovered THCA concentrates and THCA flower and order it thru the mail legally. My fave is THCA diamonds, no sauce just the chrystals, 98.x% pure. Shop around and you can find THCA flower smalls for $65/oz.

A joint is a way to enjoy and control your high as oppose to roasting your weed in glass that probably alters taste unles sits 100% clean, ams if you take to big of a rip your to stoned, not with a joint, and no a joint doesnt waste your weed if your smoking it, papers over glass forever

I agree as a normal person here in Pittsburgh but I smoke for fun and I have reflex sympathetic dystrophy... About 6 700 a month! 😢but the prices here are Alot better

My flavor preference is pretty much like, " Hot mopped asphalt, put some garlic on to sizzle and pour some gasoline on to finish." Needless to say, I can go a month or three without a drop of rosin I love. Meanwhile, what to buy? I come down on some kind of off-price stuff from premium suppliers that just happen to be flavor duds. A five star bubble hash doesn't have a ton of flavor can be fun in its own way. And if funds are tight, in my state I love some of the recent BHO shatter from certain extractors for just something to hit that's cheap.
