it was too ordinary / to even dare to remember.

So devastating to realize so forcefully and all at once what you've known this whole time but couldn't admit to yourself because you have to go about living your life as scheduled: this isn't normal, not even close.

it hits even harder now unfortunately
I love that twist at the end of the poem - the end of everything for us might just be the climax of something immense for the universe.
"there's the black / chasm of want expanding / in my chest the way a bead / of ink breaks, making me difficult / to touch without an exit plan" Augh so good.
is the first part for me : "at which point time will cease to exist and i can finally stop complaining" I fell in love at once.
sav's poetry has always struck a chord with me. absolutely delighted to see her on this channel :)
I KNEW she would be on here soon. I have been waiting quite impatiently

I've been waiting impatiently, too!
This title really grabbed my curiosity and I absolutely love the line 'there was not a single indication the cosmos would one day shut like your eyes, tight with pleasure.' E.P.I.C.
The rough, raspy voice and the pauses that are a-little-too-long take this poem to a whole new level.

That’s one that will stay with me.

this poem sent genuine chills shooting through my body - as someone who also painfully struggles with time and change and the thing time distorts and leaves behind I absolutely loved this poem and the idea of how we must the most ordinary and mundane the most when everything goes askew and fades and how we can't hold onto it all no matter how hard we try
God I didn't consider how great Sav's writing has become. And that intonation, immaculate
i just discovered Savannah Brown and am now tearing through all her work and wow, this one hits different. i want more moments like this
This is one of the most staggering poems on this platform so far, and there have been so many others. Thank you.
I really love Savs voice. she's got a really nice rhythm even when she's just talking.
im so excited for this poetry collection
Super. Lots of fresh directions going on all the time. Love the way you keep shuttling back and forth between the cosmic and ordinary (and microcosmic). Great gentleness and humor.
i subscribed to savannah’s channel when i was younger and, when i came back to youtube, didnt end up finding her again-it was a really lovely bit of deja vu seeing her on this channel, and a wonderful poem

Most metaphors/images used were of specks smaller than us specks of the universe.

As a physicist I must say that your premise might be false. But otherwise I aprove.
