@@marisbury Sauron is Maiar, his spirit can't die. He's totally powerless now, just an angry, embittered shadow, but he still exists. I like the idea that after an unimaginable amount of time has passed, he's somehow found a way to begin rebuilding his strength. Hence my comment.

Actually I'm in intrigued by this, you made I think this would be really interesting because it will probably end up being Samwise and probably some of the others kids or descendants who end up having to fight him to the point they have to find out how to kill him and I think that idea would be awesome

Man they had an Amazing opportunity to have the Balrog come out of that cloud of fire but noooooo... they could have had gandalf start his journey sooner with nori and they end up being there when the volcano erupts. Gandalf faces the balrog cuz obviously no one else will able to. As a result: EPIC SCENE

What do you mean? The Balrog is below Moria underneath the dwarves. We literally see that in the show.
