A big part of the mystique is lost, that's what happened. There was this imagery and these personas we saw on photos to complement to the experience from the music. Nothing more and nothing less was available to us. And we miss that feeling because it played a huge part in the entire experience. Now they're all grown up, talk with their normal voice, sound reasonable, mention money in interviews, smile... I mean of course, what did we expect, but there used to be the mystique to it and it felt great. I miss listening to Summoning or Tartaros and imagining I'm walking through some "grant psychotic castle". :)

You know everyone talks about frost when you mention satyricon saytar and the rest of the band are just as good but don't get me wrong frost sets the bar high because he is a phenomenal drummer 🖤

@@anonimorossoblu192 I said the same thing.Fuel for the Hatred throws it off for me, good song but way out of place for the album. I recommend listening to Deathspell Omega Manifestations 2000-2001 Manifestatons 2002. Are they the same as volcano?Nope!They have those demented riffs.

They weren’t going for Black Thrash, more like plain Black N Roll. They had one thrash song on Now Diabolical and it was perfect: Storm of the Destroyer. If they had wanted to go for thrash they could’ve nailed it. Just my opinion. Horns!
