What’s worth noticing is that the interviewer allows saurabh to speak without any interventions, which now days is a rare scenario in most interviews

Very good observation.

I sincerely appreciate Mr. Verma, Kashyap, Bajpayee & Shukla. However I get amazed by every Satya interview, no one speaks about Chakravarthy, the SATYA himself. What a performance delivered by him.

excellant observation, true no one talks about the sterling performance by JD Chakravarty, may be because is from South, may be not intentional nut he performs a very silent " non vocal role ".

Exactly as rajan mentioned, the character itself is very reserved, silent....He hardly has so many dialogues in whole movie....

JD Chakravorthy had a non vocal role. Although it was non vocal, it was great role. The problem is we don't see the transformation from a mute guy to an aggressive guy. In Rajneethi, Ranbir was in the same situation, but the transition from simpleton to sly and conniving person was brilliantly handled by Ranbir. Moreover, at times CJ Chakravorthy voice sounded squeaky. I wish Nagarjuna had performed that role.

Whether it comes to writing, assisting, dialogue writing, Directing or somehow acting, this guy has changed the perspective of Bollywood. ANURAG KASHYAP is a pure gem for Bollywood 💕💕💕

Brilliant ... Satya is a cult movie. Every character, every actor, every situation, has a story to tell. And here's the co-story-writer. My respect for Saurabh Shukla went up by few notches the day I knew he co-wrote Satya!

The millenials now don't understand the impact Ram Gopal Varma had on Indian cinema. Master piece after master piece, he is the real king of bollywood back then. He introduced new genres that I have never seen on an Indian silver screen. He should have stopped at the peak of his career now he is making mockery out of himself.

Satya ......one of the best movies even now in 2021. Even RGV cannot repeat the same. What he did as kallu mama was outsanding.

How frankly, without any inhibitions Mr Shukla said, "forget about the role, I just wanted to work with the man ( R G Varma). Today S Shukla is successful, widely respected, yet, he didn't hide his state of mind at that time, he could had quite easily sold us a response like ' mujhe role achha laga isliye maine kiya... Warna main seedha mana kar deta'

Bilkul sahi bataya Satya movie ke bare me.hum bhi isi baat se impress hue the jab humne pahli baar ye movie dekhi thi.

Satya is a mile stone nd these people like anurag, manoj , saurabh were main reason for succeeding it

Great actor in film industry

saurabh shukla gem of a creative artist. I watched the film just this morning after 20 years of its released because I was not allowed to watch it because I was 8 then. I realised Saurabh wrote it and also, VB gave the Background Music. Shushant singh rajput played a small role called Pikaya too in the film. Great film, Great cinematography. Urmila looked very cute. all in all great acting by the matre gang. great cast.
