I really don't think the lesson here is perseverance or helping others through hard work and delay, although this seems to be the most common explanation on KZread. You can't help others if you can't meet your own needs, and you can't meet your own needs when the doors of opportunity are always closed and your feet are running nowhere. I have learned that you don't get what you you work for in life, and if you keep pounding against an immovable wall, you will only fracture into pieces while the wall never moves. Why would I want to shatter myself into pieces? For what gain? So, as a Saturn in 1st house, I would say that the solution to this placement is learning how to say no. You can't say no as an abused child, but you can say no as an adult. It's just a matter of breaking that unfortunate pattern. Saturn First House, you ARE a hard worker. This is a great quality, but only if the energy is not lost on endeavors that disturb your spirit and drain your physical health. Mind, body, and spirit connection. So, work for yourself. Say no to people who see how hard you work and instead of rewarding you for it, attempt to use it for their own gain. Don't sow into areas when it is clear that you will not reap. Sometimes it's best to wait until the storm passes before starting to bloom.

Saturn in 1st house in Sagittarius is like being abused by the Universe itself. My experience was devastating. I would work extensively towards my goals for them to only then be ripped away from me to such a degree that I cant even start again. Every time I work my way up to the point of reward, life throws me a wrench and I have to try on my own to rebuild again. Struggled with severe mental health issues all my life and had to deal with that on my own too. No support, no guidance, nothing. And the Universe never gives anything but traumatic experiences or like the gurus like to call it "Lessons" and over time just takes away any hope. I don't understand these harsh lessons because its seems to never improve. Saturn in 1st House is simply bad Karma for life that may or may not improve through excruciatingly hard work. My optimism is gone at this point and I don't wish this placement on anyone. Just sad really. But I accepted it and continue to live through it. Maybe in my next live I will have better luck.

you're probably not gonna like the answer, but the lesson is to stop being resentful about it and focus on what IS working in your life. to adapt rather than wallow in self pity or blaming outside forces. to find a new solution. to carve a different path. to train your own patience. for me, it's all been very "what would Jesus do?" for the last 40 years. he didn't complain about the thorned crown, he didn't drop the cross on his back, he didn't plead as he was being nailed. and at the end of it, he was resurrected with the scars to prove that he survived. it's all metaphor for our own ability to suffer and show the world: this is all in your head. you are a divine spirit--unknowing of sorrow or pain or suffering--that has chosen to forget and play the role of a simple mortal. if you can get through this, heaven is on the other side; it's not supposed to be an easy ticket this life.

Covered in acne as a kid. My parents were very neglectful and we were very poor. My father was very violent and beat on my mother constantly giving me constant anxiety that he would kill her. This aged me emotionally as a child drastically and the other kids would tell me to act my age and not be so mature. My mother would scream in my face telling me there was something wrong with me everyday. The kids at school would make fun of me everyday for being so poor and would call me ugly for my skin. Same with the acne its gotten loads better. Mom was so depressed she wasnt mentally in tuned with her children and she plays on us emotionally in adulthood. Its almost a parasitic relationship. I love her but shes exhausting. My dad passed away early

Unfortunately the second scenario happened to me and I gave up my career. I felt like I didn't want to do it anymore. Ever since I've been feeling lost and depressed and I don't know what else I could do instead. I haven't found an alternate career path yet. According to you, it means that I have to restart everything from skretch and I should work ferociously to rebuild everything all over again. Life is such a struggle for me but thank you for this information. I love your videos. They're the best. I wish there were more. Please don't stop making them.

Look n at yoir 3rd house 1st make sure you get your chart vedic astrology . The 3rd house is were everything stems in my opinion see what gives you joy and also if the work you do isn't helping others just volunteer a little somewhere .. you'll see it'll get better

I've only just discovered my Vedic chart and this is pretty spot on. I've come along way with my relationship to Saturn. I've always struggled to have any kind of status in the world and when I have it it was either an illusion or it vanished quickly, returning me to square one. I have had chronic dermatitis my entire life and I find having a routine that never changes except seasonally keeps my skin healthy and clear. It prevented me from going to the beach or swimming with friends, prevented me from feeling comfortable being naked and it really affected my self esteem. I've made significant lifestyle changes to accommodate it but mostly I see Saturn as something I have to reckon with and I don't know that I will ever love Saturn's energies. All I wish for is for this sense of fighting against it to disappear. I also currently have adult acne which comes and goes. I also look really young for my age. Gina, I have noticed natives with Shani in lagna can also face emotional/ physical / sexual abuse or bullying, usually by older males, ie schoolmates, coworkers, relatives and tend to have a difficult relationship with a close older relative that could even be their father. I have chronical skin disease (Excema) since I was a baby, often I had very bad headaches and had to spend much time in the hospital on an IV, my parents did not have much money so we could never travel and take a nice vacation, I struggled with my little brother, I really have much difficulty having relationships with people, I became quite the lone wolf over the last years, trying to change that now slowly, because I wish for a partner and a family... really struggled with my profession as a sicoal worker a lot, not had much "success" jobwise, but since I was a small child I was always very studious, worked hard, tried to be disciplined, help other people and do everything perfect. This is 100% accurate for me!! Down to the disabilities and everything. I have Saturn basically in my first house due to its parivartan yoga with my 3rd house, and everything makes sense now that I have understood this yoga! I definitely have never had the good health of a Jupiter first house, or any of its other qualities. From the way I see it... (I have Saturn and Mars in 1st House) Unless you have really good yogas in chart... most probably Saturn will always retrict the person. Even hard work will drain your energy until it becomes some form of illness or you drop it. I've never seen good lasting results in my life for hard work and following "the correct way". I'm starting to think that this encarnation is just a way of panance for some past deed. So there isn't really "something" to "solve". If you go to jail... you just go and wait for panance to finish. You manage to do what you are allowed to and endure. Surely you can use that time in isolation to purify your mind from whatever you need to. But from standard point of view... I wouldn't hold to many dreams and hopes. I've seen people from old age have had really hard lives. Holding on to some unfulfilled dream or dreams... And it hurts me see that. People like us should be focusing on acceptance and peace of mind within our walls. Holding on to dreams and desires only put us in the way of desilusion. We should ask ourselves. Do we want to live betting that next try will be different? Or do we want to live cultivating something that is up to us. Because a house, a carreer, a partner etc may or may not happen. May or may not stay with us. But acceptance and peace of mind are things that even Saturn will have a hard time taking from us. At least this is what I think.

I’m 46 and I have come to the same conclusions about my 1st house Saturn. I’ve worked hard since I was 15 yrs old. … always had a job always went the extra mile and have little to show for it. For every 5 steps forward something crisis happens and it pushes me 5 steps back or back to square one. I used to want that successful career but have come to realize and ACCEPT like you said that it’s just not in the cards for me in this lifetime. At least I’ve accepted my fate and found my peace with it instead of wanting and wishing myself into a frenzy. I focus on doing the small things that bring me peace and joy now and it’s given me relief.

Late diagnosed with disability (autism+adhd) at 37 years old, struggled with ptsd most of my life due to complex trauma. Had to change career pathway due to health and relationship issues. A nurse for long time but really true vocation is artist and at 62 it seems as if the art career is finally emerging.

My rahu is in 9th conjunct mars not helping my relationship with my sibling or father. My arthritis pain is all over my body.. i also got into a car accident and my foot fractured in multiple places... they missed things and the surgery didn't go as planned making me have long term injury and pain. Now i am grateful i have venus helping me because at least it isn't noticeable .. (yet... who knows ) and i am greatful for my spiritual depth because it is the only thing that has saved me. If there is any advice i can give is to be as spiritual as possible with this aspect. Forget ambition and riches just focus on giving back and love for god. That is the best thing i can say I also don't believe that we did something horribly wrong in a past live.. I personally think is our souls wanting to brake the ego and strengthen the soul

I have this aspect but at 40 years of age now I haven’t progressed anywhere. You mention sometimes saturn will ease at 45 i hope you’re correct.

I don’t have social phobias but 2 of my siblings have phobias. One, the Pisces has social phobia and the Virgo has a bacteria phobias and paranoia of being watched.

As someone with this rotten placement (my 1st House Saturn is in Aries), I disagree on this placement being all about helping others. Why? Because this placement will give you so many horrible delays and unusual health problems, that most of the time you won’t even be able to help anyone. Both impact equally in different ways,,Moon chart would show conjunction with Saturn also..which is deeper impact..I would say therefore Ascendant in this case.

@@astrologyloka I can tell you that I can relate to both. Also, regarding good/bad aspects. When you mention if a planet is well aspected... I know that Jupiter is a benefic and Mars is a malefic but when Mars becomes a functional benefic would this still be considered a bad aspect? Since I have Jupiter and Mars both aspecting my 8th house having Saturn and Moon there.

Tbh I feel like this is a shit placement no matter what way you spin it. Yes it does teach you a lot of things but there are also positive ways of teaching things which I don’t think are present from this placement. And the point to wait till 36 WTF.
