Thank you Hannah for this indepth reading. I have Capricorn in my 3rd house with Saturn in my 1st house ASC. Scorpio. I dont like much conversation unless it is on subjects that are considered taboo by many people(unless they are Plutonic by nature) I am not interested in small talk and dont talk for talking sake. Mercury in 1st house. As a child, I was told to shut up for expressing my views and thereafter, growing up I always felt that I had nothing interesting to say so I stopped expressing my opinions. My brother was an achiever, but an asshole. I was never good enough in my Fathers eyes and my Brother treated me like a piece of shit bullying me physically and mentally. He has, till this day, never said a civil word to me 50yrs on. Not a great placement as this has affected my relationships throughout my life. Capricorn in my 3rd house does seem spot on. Saturn in Aquarius 3rd house here as well. I probably spend way too much time pondering the decisions I've made in the past that caused so many mistakes on my part that I'm paralyzed by indecision now at 28 years old. I've been jobless for 2 years and despite learning and growing....I often think to myself "Where the hell do I fit in this world? I don't have any skills that warrant a decent paying job". Most of my peers have advanced into better jobs while I feel like I've been left behind and slowly catching up. I have ideas on problems to solve for society or just creative ideas I'd like to bring to life but I have no idea on how to make them become reality.

Capricorn 3rd house and I feel soooo called out right now! I am the oldest and was habitually called out for the tiniest imperfections in almost everything I did. I never quite understood why I have so much doubt in my work, but now I get it. When it came to myself and my two siblings a different dynamic played out. Rather than grades it was materialism. For example, my first car we bought at auction for $500.00. Both of my siblings received multiple vehicles, latest technology, gaming systems, you name it. They got it. If I asked for the same, "NO."

Retrogrades are usually ascociated with reflection and looking back (think Retro but in planetary terms). I have Jupiter in Taurus in the 7th Retrograded so I know how difficult it can be to find something on Retrgrded placement (i'm trying to myself lol).

Third house in Capricorn (sun and moon in the third house along with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune . ) My third house is as ruled by Capricorn as it can get. The weirdest thing here is ... I am surrounded by Geminis in life. They just flock to me.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Anything in your 3rd house takes on the traits of Gemini regardless of what sign it's in so naturally you'd get along with Gemini people they are very similar to you.

WOW this is absolutely wildly accurate. Parents were immigrants to Canada. All hopes placed on me as the eldest child to fulfill their dreams of success. We moved every 18-24 months so a very lonely childhood too. It worked, in a way, I became a physician. They decided that I would be when I was 4 years old! Failure was never ever an option. Since I was little I was forced to read early and learned how to read “The foot book” when I was 3. I was also forced to not play during pre school and kindergarten to get extra, undivided attention for learning. My first school was a catholic school which was very strict and I was always getting in trouble for any little thing. I was beat by parents when I underperformed, and had a restriction setting on my phone under my parents plan until I was 19. It’s so weird because they would buy unlimited plans through T-Mobile only to put restrictions and blocks on my account so every night at 9pm my phone would get cut off. You know how hard it was to convince my friends that I was asleep at 9pm when they would try to call? Also I used to play teacher until I was like 8 years old and I was always so strict with my siblings. 😂 omg it’s so funny looking back now. For me, this is how I see Saturn manifested in my everyday life as it sits in my 3rd house. I also am have had many difficult lessons about cars and car trouble and have a delay in getting my car, and still do not have a car lol

I have Capricorn Ruling the 3rd house and I gotta say a lot of what you just said is hella true for me only it came from my mother and grandfather (in a sense). Also, Saturn is in the 2nd, but close enough to be counted in the 3rd, in Capricorn. I was also born during the Uranus-Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Capricorn and Sextiles my Ascendant (tightly so), Oppositions Chiron, and Conjuncts my Sun. It also conjuncts a bunch of Dwarf Planets and Asteroids. The ruler of my 10th house is in the 3rd as well. (had to re-read and edit through lol. Yay for perfectionism \s)

Hannah, I have uranus in capricorn in my third house. Evolutionary astrology says that uranus indicates trauma-signatures in the birth chart. And I do have massive trauma around perception of reality. In my childhood and in my youth I was completely at the mercy of my extremely narcissistic "mother". So she was the one to inform me about my environment and how reality is set up. She would tell me that life is extremely dangerous. When I was a child and I would venture out and go places on my own she would tell me that there are people who "fuck children" and that I need to be careful and if something bad happens to me it’s my fault of course and if I go out at night I get killed by criminals a.s.o. Also: No one can be trusted. My mom would constantly talk shit about each and every one and mercilessly devalue other people including her husband and her own children. Given that my "mom" was so extremely egotistical I perceived the world to be highly egotistical as well: The world is a jungle. You can't rely on anyone. Everyone is out for themselves. so I became extremely self-sufficient as a result. As my mom would frequently rage at me and harshly criticize me for even the tiniest mistake I felt like i was incapable to do anything by myself (chiron in tenth = No authority over my own life). So in short: The world is highly dangerous and extremely egotistical. No one can be trusted and I myself am incapable to do anything. So in general everything is quite a difficult thing to overcome. That’s an extremely stressful perception to have, right? Right now I'm in my saturn-return and transiting saturn is conjunct my natal uranus in 3rd house and I am in the process of breaking free from this highly distorted and traumatized perception of the world. I found that the parenting-style I received can be classified as authoritarian parenting meaning parents have a very harsh/punitive and critical attitude towards their children and this is my biggest wound: The authoritarian wounding of being made to feel like an inferior who is incapable and not good enough (constant criticism/punishment for smallest mistakes). So I am learning about authoritarians and authoritarian wounding at the moment which really helps me heal my perception of the world which I always thought to be authoritarian (harsh, punitive, egotistical, violent and unsafe). authoritarianism and tyranny are what I believe to be the distorted version of capricornian energy. So having my uranus in capricorn in third house I want to heal my traumatized perception of my environment by liberating my mind from this distorted, authoritarian and tyrannical perception of things and people. This also is my answer to your question on how I think and why^^...I must say even though the third house is an air-house uranus in 3rd is quite intense. Third house is about communication but I notice the described trauma-signature really strongly when it comes to my PERCEPTION. So maybe third house is first and foremost about your perception and the way you communicate comes secondary as a result of your perception. E.g. from your distorted capricornian-perception you might say: "Oh, life is really harsh. No one is going to do anything for you. Life is a difficult thing to overcome. All these fucking authoritarians everywhere. I better not say anything stupid or I'll get criticized and punished whereas the healed capricornian perception might sound like: "Life is manageable after all. I'm not afraid of these authoritarians because they are the ones with the problem and not me. As people we can support each other and help each other out for a change. Don’t let anyone tell you how to be and what to do, just be yourself". The change in perception for me was to realize that my mom and people like her did not act in my best interest and they don't express the truth of how reality is organized. Authoritarians have lots of issues with themselves which they compensate for by putting other people down, controlling them and tyrannizing them so authoritarians like my mom are not a reliable source of information about how reality works. You can see the uranian urge in 3rd house to think for yourself and to make up your own mind.

I have this placement and let me tell you it sucks. I also have Scorpio asc. so double YaY when it comes to family 😒 *totally being sarcastic with that one. Anywho, I was born youngest of 5 girls. I feel all my sisters but 1 hate me even though I have tried being nice to all of them. Everyone in my family, other than myself, are typical very obese middle-Americans. They have always resented the fact I eat healthy and exercise and they bully me and call me names like "anorexic" even though I freakin' eat all the time and I am no where near "under weight". At family functions like holidays they scoff at any food I bring saying im "Ms. Fancy Pants" with my use of fresh herbs and actual use of ingredients with actual nutritional content to it, ect. They just hate and rag on me all the time about anything they can. My father has had off and on alcohol related illnesses my entire life leaving my mom to his total care and attention in hospitals since my early childhood. My mother never gave me any attention or support ever growing up. She has her golden child in one of mt sisters who is a total dead beat and off again/on again drug user. Even as an adult my mom had told me she doesnt care anything about me, she just cares about my son. Just dumb crap lile that. I have actually written all of them off here recently. I simply saw no way to fix it. I find myself so envious when I see other large families where the siblings all get along and have one another's back or the mom and daughter get along and do everything together but thats not how my life turned out.

Hello, Donald! I also have Saturn the 3rd in Sag and I also had a very hard time learning in a classroom. Oh my gosh I cannot tell you how badly I did in school over the years, buy as i get older i find mysrlf more like an autodiadect.

What i'm getting from the Jordan Peterson's clip is that Saturn is a pushy God...........so you can learn this, that, and become this and that..........as if life was all about learning to become something more than we believe we are or we should opt to become. Well, i might not be interesting in learning to become "better" _(per who's standard?)_ but more interested in experiencing for the sake of the experience. I may generate challenges for my own self, but is it really to learn from them as most astrologers want us to believe? No, not at all. Many of us create challenges because it may be fun and exciting for us _(who here likes dangerous adventurous for the sake of the adventure?)._ In fact, many of us die while challenging our own selves. Unless one believes that life is all about learning and evolving - which is nothing more than a limiting spiritual belief - one will never truly really savior the freedoms and joy of life. Gemini with Scorpio rising, and Moon in Aquarius opposite Uranus in midheaven _(Leo)_ here. ;)
