Hypalon made boats are best suited for use in Tropical environment, where heat and humidity will affect PVC seams in a long run. That is why Hypalon is preferred fabric for boaters in a South hemisphere. If you are in a Florida, Caribbean, Central or South America, then Hypalon fabric boat is a must. It will provide longer life span, and doesn't require as much extra care and protection as PVC boats would. UV rays, heat and humidity does not affect Hypalon made boats when left unprotected. While PVC boats must be stored in a well ventilated shaded area when not in use, Hypalon boats are less demanding in terms of storage.
